More like a test of knowledge. If your child already knows his or her shapes and colors and you just want an app that tests what they know, then this is good. But it doesn't actually teach the shapes and colors. Nor is it really a fun game. No goals or rewards other than a voice saying good job in a not so enthusiastic voice. Not really worth the space in my device memory.
