URGENCIAS ONCOLOGICAS

El objetivo principal de URGENCIAS ONCOLOGICASes cubrir la necesidad que tienen los médicos que atienden pacientes en urgencias de acceder a un manual sobre urgencias oncológicas actualizado permitiéndoles resolver dudas a pie de cama ante cualquier complicación relacionada con el cáncer o con sus tratamientos.

URGENCIAS ONCOLOGICAS permite acceder a la edición digital “Urgencias Oncológicas del Hospital 12 de Octubre-2ª Edición Revisada 2016” (GUIA DE URGENCIAS). Además asocia herramientas que facilitan la consulta rápida de los fármacos utilizados en urgencias (FÁRMACOS COMUNES), así como el cálculo automatizado del aclaramiento de creatinina, la superficie corporal y otros parámetros importantes en oncología (CALCULADORAS). También permite la consulta de escalas oncologías: valoración de la intensidad del dolor, agitación-sedación de Ramsey, tanto como escalas de valoración de situación basal funcional: ECOG, Barthel, etc (ESCALAS); e incorpora un útil apartado para la conversión de dosis entre opioides (CONVERSOR DE OPIOIDES).

En algunas patologías puede no haber suficientes publicaciones científicas y las guías clínicas ser escasas. En estas situaciones los autores han realizado recomendaciones terapéuticas basándose en su experiencia y han contado con el aval de los editores. También es importante recalcar que la dosis de administración de fármacos debe ser siempre revisada por el médico prescriptor que tendrá en cuenta aspectos como la edad, la función renal, la función hepática o el estado general del paciente.
