Neonatal Medicines Management

Health Education Thames Valley and Health Education Wessex has launched an education app for Neonatal Medicine Management. Calculating, verification of drug dosages and infection control are essential skills in every day practice. The app has been designed to provide an interactive learning tool that enables staff to learn, practice, and test themselves, and enhance their knowledge of medicine management. The app uses content produced by local NHS neonatal nursing, pharmaceutical and medical expertise ensuring that users are receiving the best and most up to date practice when using this app.

The app is free and provides a new and interesting way for staff to support their learning and skill building programmes. The app is not designed to replace formal education classes but rather supplement these with an interesting and engaging addition.
