I think that people should know there are alternatives when needing blood I am not one of jehovahs witnesses , I was though when I was younger but jehovahs witnesses helped me to understand the dangers that can occur should I need a blood transfusion unfortunately blood taken cannot be tested for everything and so to me you a really taking your life in your hands should you need blood .But of course that is up to the person concerned .
