course code has no effect in calculating gpa.. hence course code can be elimi nated or if it is considered mandatory, it can be provided as drop down box.. before that the app can programmed to ask for course name, department and semester.. based on that drop down box should display course codes and respective credits including electives..any change in credit value or course code can be given as update if needed..cgpa is not accurate and not according to the cumulative formula followed in the university..cgpa calculation has only 8 semesters (what about B.Arch who study for 5 years?).. these suggestions can enhance the user experience..2 stars for taking this initiative.. lot of improvements needed..

Bug is der...Get the subject code from drop down menu...even if you select two different semester it calculate GPA...get semester and academic year from user and calculate gpa
