Periodic Network toggles both your WiFi and mobile data periodically, so that they connect to internet (you can set the duration and intervals) while saving the battery in between. This will keep your device always up to with latest content, messages, news, email, and notifications and maintains your device in low power between the toggling period.

Note: The app will never turn off your mobile connection. You will always be able to receive phone calls or text messages as usual. The app only toggles your phone's or tablet's WiFi adapter and mobile data service.
