About NightReading - Lights

Did you know that there are scientific studies proving that the color used to illuminate the reading environment interferes with your relaxation? If you have to have light at night, new studies suggest that the color can make a big difference in how (un)healthy it is - and although the answer is counter-intuitive, we have an app for that!

Though the color blue is believed to have a calming effect, a study involving hamsters found that blue light had the worst effects on mood-related measures, followed closely by white light. The best? Red. Actually, shades of red. Shades that this app brings to you.

Hamsters exposed to red light at night had significantly less evidence of depressive-like symptoms and changes in the brain linked to depression, compared to those that experienced blue or white light.

A research conducted by the Ohio University, for example, examined the role of specialized photosensitive cells in the retina -- called ipRGCs -- that don't have a major role in vision, but detect light and send messages to a part of the brain that helps regulate the body's circadian clock. This is the body's master clock that helps determine when people feel sleepy and awake. Other research suggests these light-sensitive cells also send messages to parts of the brain that play a role in mood and emotion.

Based on all of this, we've created the NightReading, a very nice application, which lets you use your own device as an efficient, technically proven light for a good, relaxing night reading flashlight. It is for real, colors which the leve of red are proven to help you relax when reading at night!

When opening the application, hit the button "Turn the lights on", then choose the convenient time to illuminate the desired object and have a good reading!

In the menu located at the bottom of your device, there are a number of bonuses for you to also make the most of the app, but remember: the main focus of the app is to turn your iDevice into an efficient night reading flashlight.

Check out also lights of many colors coming straight from your device, as well as cool and animated images. Lights for parties, for music, for every occasion, including that night at the club.

Characteristics:
- Fast app
- Won't waste your battery like the camera led would
- Very strong and colorful lights
- Multi-color, with maximum bright and saturation
- Blinking lights

- Mods available: Reading at 6pm, 7pm or 8pm/later, white, ultraviolet, red, green, blue, black (yes, black), yellow, strobe, police car, aurora borealis, safety car, candle, siren, Spiral.

You can set a game among your friends and see whose device illuminate brighter or blink faster. Also good for 15 years party, bithdays, proms, weddings, pajamas, christmas ou anything that requires light. But don't forget: The main focus is the light for reading at night. Good for late readings, but what I like the most is the creativity of the authors, who put different perspectives for what kind of light we can use. Really cool!

So it does "work". Essentially you are just scrolling through pictures. Not sure why anybody would make this an app
