Artemis Director's Viewfinder

I've been using this app for years. It doesn't work anymore for the past few months. Yes I have updated to the latest version. It still doesn't work. Opens and crashes. I WOULD LIKE A REFUND BACK PLEASE. So that I can spend on another viewfinder. Thank you

I've been using Artemis for a few years and it has steadily been getting more and more unreliable to the point where it has become useless as an on-set tool. Fifty percent of the time the app won't even open and just crashes, which when I'm lining up a shot with the Director is obviously no good. The developer doesn't seem interested in getting rid of the bugs in the Android version compared to the Apple one so I'm going to try and find a reliable alternative and dump Artemis.

It was a great app. It has suddenly just stopped working. I have mailed them but haven't received any response. The application is getting stuck on the launch page.

It's not working anymore. Nexus 6P 7.1.2 Just shows the splash screen.

just updated and now wont startup

I use this on a Galaxy s4....The artemis team were fast at responding to inquiries that I made, offering advice and solved small issues with my phone in such a short time. I would highly recommend this application to anyone in production. A+++++

Used to work fine before. Now it doesnt save the picture and now always get the error message saying unfortunately stopped working .

I know a few well known cinematographers who use this app. Would be great if there was a video mode...is there one coming??

Best app for DOP and directors

Suddenly stopped working... After Android update. Tried everything. Restarted phone... Reinstalled the app... Just solved I wrote to them they helped me out with an older version thanks

4/5 times I open the app it barely works, crashes, or stretches the frame. 1/5 times it works flawlessly and is very useful. However, on set there's very little time to wait for an app to start working, so it doesn't beat a manual viewfinder. Also need a feature to stop phone from going to sleep in use.

This app has become totally useless and is an utter waste of money. It keeps crashing. everytime I try to take a picture the app crashes. That's the one thing it should be doing, instead it's the only thing it doesn't do. Did expect this from an app I paid money for. Some free apps work better than this.

Crashes when I take a photo. Began after update

I am a professional cameraman that regularly uses cameras with different size sensors so this app is great for pre visualization on shots. Also great for location surveys.

Every time I try to take a photo the app crashes.

I had a problem but the service team sorted me out straight away.

Isn't functioning properly post the update that i got yesterday. Taking forever to start up.. All my settings got reset so had to do it all over again..& then the app shuts down once I click a picture. Doesn't let me click or save a picture. Was on a location scout and had to salvage the day by taking screenshots of the frames I set. Not cool. Plz plz rectify the bugs ASAP! Thanks.

Please add the option to upload to dropbox as a backup. Excellent developer response.

Images are upside down! This is a known issue and apparently Google days vendors need to check their code. Please fix asap. Looks like a great app otherwise. UPDATE: new version I received fixes this problem. Fantastic support, fix in less that two hours. 5 star service.

Insanely useful tool, especially for projects where there just isn't enough time for too many lens swaps. The camera/lens inventory is just a little behind the times (hoping for Canon Cine Primes to be added soon), but otherwise I love it.

Highest rating not only for usefulness of an application, but for customer support too! I had an compatibility issue which was solved in one single e-mail. If something doesn't work - contact the developers first. Very polite and ready to help. UPDATE: the boot time is very long.

Great App. Needs constant update of cameras and glass. Have had a few jobs recently that don't have supported cameras or lenses. Fs7 and sony primes need to be added soon.

It works great on my LG G3 and and it has my D800 and the Nikon FX Lenses in it. But a Video mode, especially in 4K (if the phone features it), would make it perfect.

Works as described. Customer service is super helpful and fast. I had an issue on the Nexus 5X and received a patch the next day. Great way to do business.

Crashes every time I take a photo

This app rocks!

...keeps crashing on my brand new Nexus 4. I get it up and running, get my camera settings done, take the photo but when I hit save I get the annoying "Unfortunately Artemis has stopped working" about half of the time. || edit: the developers got in touch with me within 24h and have been working hard to supply me with beta builds top try and resolve issues.The main one mentioned above seems to have been fixed and any minor ones I am sure will be gone with the next official update. Amazing customer service for a great app. Upped from 3 to 4 stars, most probably will get to 5 with the next official update.

I wish we had some exposure adjustments for the camera (strictly for aesthetics; I know the cell phone ISO and exposure would be irrelevant to the real cameras)

The only one I've found that will five you a full screen, scaled view. Wish I could save camera/lens packages and load then with one option instead of manually selecting the camera and all lenses available.
