Kana Generator

A simple app for practicing reading and writing the Japanese scripts hiragana and katakana. Every list includes the standard and the voiced syllables, as well as diagraphs (e.g. kya きゃ). The katakana list also include foreign syllables (e.g. ti ティ).
Kana Generator randomly selects kana or their reading (in romaji) – you will have to find the respective match. If you do not know the correct answer, you can check it by one click. In each mode (“ask for kana” and “ask for romaji”) it is possible to select whether only hiragana, only katakana, or both should be generated.
Optionally you can check your knowledge with a multiple choice test.
