Most councils have allocated several dedicated spaces to motorcyles close to the CBD. Find them easily and quickly with the Motorcycle Network Parking App.
Each state in Australia has different parking rules - and each Local Council governs the areas and the fees. They are all different and you need to know the rules to avoid a parking ticket.
For instance: Victoria is the ONLY state that allows you to park on the footpath. If you park on the footpath in any other state you will be fined.
Sydney CBD allows bikes to park in car bays without purchasing a ticket - but you MUST abide by the time limits.
Perth CBD does NOT allow bikes in car bays at all. You MUST park in dedicated bike bays.
These and many other rules make it difficult to park your motorbike legally and responsibly when travelling from state to state.
Motorcycle Network Parking app also shows you the location of parking stations where your bike or scooter should be more secure. The payment varies but mostly the cost is reduced from the car rate.

Not working at all on my Samsung S7. Constantly says can't read parking data. Uninstalled and reinstalled but it made no difference. Used to be a good app but lack of updates has made it bad.

Great app but the locations seem to be a little outdated (last updated in DEC 2012 and it is now JUL 2015). Would love to see an updated version created of the maps and application. I'm even willing to pay if the developer updates it which is something I don't usually think about.

Used to be a fantastic app, however can't even use it lately - the map is very slow and laggy and has basically made it unusable.

I do love this app and it's helped a lot. But the design, as minimal as it is, is a bit dated. The only real problem I have is the GPS function seems to be totally out of whack. I don't know what android GPS methods it's using but it seems to show my location as somewhere I was about 3 hours ago. Maybe use ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION instead?

I used iPhone and very happy to see this now available on the better platform. Simple and clean app that works flawlessly. Worth five stars as is, but suggestion to developer - would be great to be able to select the location pin I'm heading to and then have it fire up turn by turn navigation software for earpiece or sena style helmet comms. Nice work guys!

Outstanding! Simple, clear and easy. I especially like how I can pinpoint new or changed status parking sites. Somewhat disappointed that it won't engage my bikes reverse gear, flick down the sidestand nor heft the bike onto the centerstand for me. It should also lube the chain after a wet commute. Boo! LOL

App doesn't work on my phone. Every attempt to use it brings error message. My friend also tried to set up on his device, but app doesn't work s well
