Westpac Online Investing

Does everything I've asked it to. But Every now and again it "forgets" my PIN and I have to log in with a password, then re-enable PIN login.

For a simple investor like myself it does the trick fine.

After recent update i need to sign in each time i open app (S7) also no way to go back i.e. when placing an order, only option is to exit.. stupid

Suits the purpose, though provides far less than website. Have a couple of bugs: calculates incorrectly Change Value on the day of purchase, it takes into account the previous day closing price, while should take the purchase price; calculates incorrectly the Purchase Price when part of shares got via dividends reinvestment or via subscription to additional emission.

Since thr last update I find myself having to log in every single time I start the app or unlock my phone. Using Galaxy S7.

Brilliant for small time investors. Great functionality and extremely easy to navigate. The only issue the icon with the arrow going UP? Or maybe that's just my poor investment choices haha. Well worth using.

Really basic. Like using an app from 2005.

So ho hum. It is fast and accurate but just basic functionality. I've only gone to trade once using the app but backed out and used the website because the warning messages made me think i was misinterpreting something. Hate the fact it doesn't rotate on tablet.

Doesn't adjust buy price when you purchase more shares. Doesn't give a very good overview of your holdings and is utterly useless for margin loan functionality. Pretty much only good for a quick check of portfolio value of placing an order.

Great basic app to check on stocks and your stock account. But lacks some functionality of the website.

Great improvement on the old app. Everything works pretty good so far no lagging. Well done Westpac and it's about time.

Went through the process of setting up an investment account. Received a confirmation email stating that my account would be open normally within one business day and I would receive an email when it is. The account has since shown up in my online banking but no email 5 days later and I can't log into the app because I have not been provided a username or password. Typical clunky Westpac technology. If I ever get let into this app and get a chance to use it I may come back and change my rating.

I need to be able to set and see my conditional orders. Other than that, I use this app very often to open a trade and track my watch list. But when I open a trade I then need to set my stop-loss online.

Crashes on opening. Option of $$ amount and quantity would be handy when making a trade. Push notifications need to have an option to turn sound on for notification. Currently only vibrating on my phone and no option in settings to change this. Watchlist should also indicate what price the stock was when added to watchlist not just indicate daily change.

What happened to the colour changes in the watchlist - everything the same - no red for down moves in stocks like before???? Even new update still no change to colour - new course of sales no option to download

When i open the app and sign in initial, it always force closes. Only started after the update

Chart don't work so I call up to report , the westpac team wasn't helpful taking me around the world

Please change the colour of the ASX graph. Purple on black is hard to see. Thx

Want forward warning when stock going x dividend and sell order will be cancelled. OR immediately reinstate existing order automatically

In comparison to other bank trading apps, it just seems basic and cheap.

App used to be great but has recently stopped sending my push notification alerts. This has meant a few missed opportunities to buy/sell at a good price which is disappointing

I don't buy or sell much stock frequently, but I do like to see how my investment is going. I'd give 5 stars for a widget showing my top watch list picks price flux

Horrible not clear whether buying or selling awaiting a response to a sell order that went through as a buy. Very expensive mistake westpac.

This app is quite good, though why does "purchase price ($)" state a higher dollar value than what i originally purchased a share for?

Crashes every time i sellect to view or amend orders. Useless when i want to trade on the go.

The Westpac online trading app is really very easy to use, has great features making it a pleasure to use.

After entering password there is no button to actually enter site.

CAN NOT LOGIN. Doesn't accept my email address.!!!!!!!!!!!

Works for a while and then stops connecting, which can last for a week or so. Frustrating if you want to trade. Still does it

Easy to use and never had any issues

Whenever I switch from one window to another app turns off **seems to have been fixed**

I have tons of screen grabs from my PC where westpac are having technical difficulties. Now the portable app is finding it difficult to connect to its server. Getting to the point I'm going to have to change brokers. Getting beyond a joke.

The original install was terrible but since the upgrade. I highly rate it

Shows up as installed. Wish I could open it! Just takes me to Google Play.

I've never reviewed an app but made an account just for you. App was fine before last update, but you have ruined it. This is meant to be a banking app not a malformed asx candy crush saga. Nothing is sized right and genuinely looks like it was made for people with ADHD. Please undo this atrocity.
