腦中風是台灣中老年人常見的失能主因。統計數據指出2010年全台約有1萬人口因腦血管疾病死亡，而其中老人佔了三分之二。中風患者需要緊急照護，許多國家都沒有這一類的醫療機構，就連在醫療資源豐富的臺灣，也並非所有醫療機構都能治療患有中風疾病的患者，因此有很大部分的患者因為延誤送醫或者因為送到非專任的醫院，而再轉院的途中錯過治療時間而導致死亡。

亞東醫院指出有約8成的患者因為不知道自己中風或是抱著逃避的心態而不願就醫，導致從去年底至今約有500位患者從發病到醫院的時間長達34小時，嚴重錯過黃金3小時的治療時機，造成遺憾。

再加上過去數十年來，腦中風一直高居台灣10大死因的前2位，平均每51分鐘就有1個人因腦血管疾病喪命，是個不得不重視的問題，而個人習慣、身高體重、家族病史及空氣汙染程度、溫度等等都會影響使用者中風的機率。

因此，我們設計一款專門檢測中風的應用程式，利用政府中央氣象局及空汙監測站的Open Data告知使用者當日危險程度，並且針對不同族群、不同病史及不同生活習慣的使用者進行個人中風危險程度分析及分級。

不但利用影像處理技術以及語音辨識功能結合辛辛那提中風指標，判斷使用者是否有中風的症狀，為了讓患者可以及時送醫急救，我們整合全台灣中風急救專任醫院的資料再串接Google Map導航功能，當使用者處於危急狀況時，便可導航到目前位置最近的中風病患專任醫院，達到提前預防、即時偵測、一鍵就醫的多重功能，期望能用此款App造福及預警更多使用者，並且預防因錯過黃金救援3小時送醫時間而造成的遺憾 !
