Have you ever wondered how to explain to someone where you are right now in the city? With the 'Send my location' app you can easily send a link to a map of your current location to a friend via text message or email. Anyone with internet-enabled phone can receive the map. A feature-phone with a mobile browser will also work as well as any type of smartphone. You can also just email the link with your position to anyone with Internet access or share it with social networks and messaging services like Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp or Skype.

Imagine the following situation:
I am dining with friends in a new restaurant. Another friend calls and asks me to explain where I am, so he can join us. Great app, use it all the time. Just send location and other person can open in google maps and press navigate to and find your exact position. Be sure to have gps and and check your location is 100% accurate before sending.

When I send my location the receiver gets two links divided by a comma. The first is the maps link and longitude. The second is latitude. The comma isn't interpreted correctly.

I came about finding this app in the store of need of an emergency situation as I needed to find my sister, who had a blown tire on the side of the expressway without a close exit. I called her told her download this app and send me her GPS coordinates. It automatically pluged the info into Google maps and found her without a problem, not to mention she was on a bridge! This app is great!

Does just what it says. If you need to remind yourself or someone else about your current location so you can find it again later just send a quick email. Easy to include additional notes or instructions along with the map link.

Why in the world does every single app developer choose random odd coordinare format rather than use good old DD,MM.ddd that all gps units use. All I want is a button to send my coordinates in a format, that any resque, naval and aeronautical equipment works with. Instead this is tenth app I try with said functionality, but fucked up format. No setting to choose format anywhere too. Helloo! Resque heli does not have google maps. We need other format!

I like the multiple share options and the simple approach. I'd really like a copy to clipboard option to share easily via tapatalk instead of having to create an email and copying/pasting. Plus I'd pay to go and free. But I do like the app, cheers

I wish there were an option to flag my location automatically, instead of having to find my location, zoom in, and monkey around with getting the flag as close to my gps location as possible. I intended to recommend this app to my friends so they could send me their location in case they need a ride home and may not know where they are, or have the dexterity to zoom in and meticulously position the flag on their location. Unfortunately, as it is, this app does not serve my needs.

It's a decent application. Does it's job with excessive ads. Though with current gen apps it's not required. Nearly all apps including but not limited to whatsapp, telegram, kakao, facebook have their inbuilt option to send location to them. I'm not sure how safe i feel using a third party application which is ad based to get access to my location coordinates.. because that ultimately causes third party ad agencies yo get hold of the same. And I'm not up for it.
