This app is good for using your own Food Guide instead of following the normal guide. I found the " Dairy " and " Activity " parts of the app dated, and the activity part should be able to schedule a date for doing exercises and a timeslot.

Very useful in helping with devoloping healthy eating habits. I can hardly wait for the updated Guide!

D70%
by D####:

Very limited to measurement used... I weigh my food, but it only has 1/2 cups or ml so can't use I t.

I like that we can see the recommended amounts, and that they can be personalized according to age and gender. We don't need an app for that, however, just look up the information on their site. What I need an app for, is to track my food intake during the day, and to be able to do so in fractional portions (if I eat my kid's leftover 1/4 banana, I want to be able to count it as such, not have to remember). I would also like to be able to track more than one person.

D70%
by D####:

Wish it would track day to day so you can look back throughout the week to see or at least have a master reset button so I don't have to manually redo ever category every day

How about a picture of a plate where you can track how many servings you have had from each group, and a way to save that info each day so its easy to see where improvements need to be made?

C70%
by C####:

This is the closest/only thing I could find to track my food intake as per health Canada guidelines. 98% of everything else only tracks my calories, which I'm not interested in. For the most part I enjoy the app, easy to navigate, easy to understand, pictures for everything. But I wish I could input new data each day. Right now I have to clear it every morning so I can't keep track of my good/bad habits. Oh and the Contact Us link does not work...

It's great for knowing exactly which servings I should be getting in a day, but it would be more useful if each day you could record your food intake. Then you'd easily be able to see where you're lacking as per your requirements.

I love this app.

Aside from the food selections being dated (the dairy options barely had any dairy alternatives) and the recommendations questionable (8 grains a day) and lack of clear direction (so I'm good if I eat 8 Tim Hortons muffins a day). I found it a little pointless (select an activity.... You selected running - Yes, I know, I just selected it. Now what.)

I go to open the app and 1 second later it closes on me

If i could i would give it a negative star. Am very disappointed and dissatisfied with this app. Tells me i have to name this guide. I do that and tells me i have to input a name. Wont let me go any further.

Would be great if the fruits and vegetables were separate. Mainly because they are different. Should have the diabetic food guide.

I downloaded it for the science project and it turned out to be really good and helpful.
