Wow this app has gone downhill. I had it last year and while there were challenges, I could usually get thru a show. I've reinstalled it this week and haven't been able to watch even a few mins without an error message! I have Netflix and other tv show apps and they play w no issues. This one is horrible.

The video is super choppy. I have a brand new Google Pixel phone, every other app runs totally smooth, so it's just this. I really wanted to like this, but choppy video is a deal breaker (given that's your product!)

Streaming quality is terrible. I stream Netflix and Youtube at 4K with ease, but this app gets no better than (what appears to be) 480p. There's also frequent and obvious lag. All this on a wired ethernet connection... Not only that, but they've cornered the market so that this is the only streaming option available to Canadians who want access to HBO content.

Not user friendly but I use it out of necessity. A lot of the choppiness people talk about can be solved by reducing the quality... but why that doesn't happen automatically is beyond me. Also why not autoplay the next episode? Why log out every time?

This app is useless. I'm using it on a Samsung Galaxy s8+ and all the videos are choppy... I've checked my speeds and tested with YouTube and Netflix with no problem. What is the problem? I don't pay a premium price to get bootleg quality.

New review: tried skipping to a particular time in a show, app hangs indefinitely. Old review: Lag/synch issues, disconnects, apparently no caching, so it is unfortunately quite frustrating at times. It sort of works and you can eventually watch the show, with a few restarts, so it is passable. Not conducive to relaxing and watching something. If you want your television to be a struggle, like in the old days of slapping the TV on the side every 15 minutes to get the picture back, then this is the app you have been waiting for.

Choppy video while steaming or watching downloaded episodes on all qualities... Netflix doesn't have this issue so it's not my phone.. I will not continue paying $20/month if this is not fixed.

It is actually infuriating that I pay for HBO and TMN with my Telus Satellite TV subscription and yet I can not use this app. Apparently I need an Optik TV account, which is not available where I live. Truly disappointing to pay more for a service and get less for it. Obviously I am uninstalling.

When it asks me to sign in to my service provider it tells me my user name is invalid yet I am entering my correct user name and password. I shouldn't be surprised, after all it is from Bell and they have never provided good service for anything in the past, why should this be any different.

Try to sign in with my bell Aliant account and always fails. I have no problem with sportsnet tsn ctvgo discovery channel just this piece of garbage

This app is infuriating. It crashes very often and signs you out on its own. Don't expect to easily take a break from what you are watching just to jump right back in, switching apps will cause it to crash. They added the ability to download content for offline playback which is great, but it is poorluly executed. Downloads take forever and they expire very quickly after being started. Sometimes I will download a show, then 30 minutes later when I go to watch it, they will be gone saying they've already expired. Step up your game TMN. You make piracy look appealing just for the convenience of reliable playback.
