Vintage 8mm Video - VHS Camera

Why did the quality of this app regress over time? a year or two ago it was fantastic and original, now its a glitchy mess that doesnt save your settings on exit and crashes constantly. Doesnt look nearly as good as it used to either. Please just make it how it used to be, when it worked.

It would be perfect if u could bring back the feature where u can play songs in the background, like just in the video, u don't hear it in the moment u record, I'd be very grateful!

Free Version is better. Crashes phone every time i record video. Don't waste your money (only 10 sec video on the free version but better than rebooting phone with no video)

This app freeze my galaxy s7. Stuck for some minutes. I need to do hard reset every time. Sorry guys but this is third time. I want my money back for pro version, or please fix this issue asap.

Photos are great but when trying to record it on my s7 edge it freezes and i have to do a hard reboot. Please fix this.

Downloaded this on my Samsung Galaxy S8 and after about 2 seconds of filming it crashes. Really not excited by the fact that I paid for an app that sucks so badly.

Freezes screen on S7 and require a hard reboot. Until this is fixed. 1 star.

Works really well with my Vivo Xshot. I can shoot a 15-20 minutes video without any problems. I may try to shoot a longer video next time. Thank you!

Does not open and is a paid app

After purchasing the Pro Version, the app is unable to record. It becomes completely unresponsive and freezes so I have to completely restart the phone. I have Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. IS THIS GETTING FIXED?!??

There is a major problem with this app. Everytime I try and record a video it starts to record but then freezes on my Samsung S7. The app doesn't work properly.

I downloaded another app and it does pretty good. But I was really looking for another look. After looking at YouTube and watching Vintage 8mm camera and video, I was convinced that was the look. After purchasing the full app I was able to shoot and edit a short film in no time. The look is better than my real Super8 filmmaking cameras.

By reading the description, I felt that this one would be JUST like another app that was on the market last year but was taken down due to the operation failure for the Lollipop upgrade. So I bought it and I can say my wish came true because this is JUST like that app and I LOVE IT!!!!!!! I'm using it on a Samsung Galaxy S5, I tested it out and all works well! The images are clear, both for video and snapshots, and the presets for the different decades is totally awesome! There is the light-leak and grainy effects for the 60's and 70's, and that makes the video PERFECT for that authentic look! The price is just right for this beautiful app. My hats off to the developer(s) because when it comes to authenticity, this 8mm app is the BEST!!

Won't take videos longer than 14 seconds, sometimes won't even take them longer than 3 or 4. Not sure what the problem is. Great look but really totally unusable because of that.

But sometimes there are just too many bugs like freezing, crashing and sometimes, i though the video got saved but it didnt.... also, some of my videos are not saved in my gallery. :(

Crashed on LG G4 (full frame, audio and video). I like most of the settings especially the light leaks

Just bought this app and tried using it on my Nexus 6p. Doesn't even launch as it quickly stops responding and shuts down

It says my device can't but this simply isn't true as another app accidentally recorded at 1920×1440, i'm unable to reproduce the glitch, but I have the video to prove that it did happen. "Various resolutions" is a lie, there is only the illusion of 2.

I love filming in the 8mm & VHS effect! And I found this app. Best of old camera app around. Lots of fun and some really cool options.
