About Charge Cycle Battery Stats
Charge Cycle Counter is a free App, that helps you to measure how often you charge your phone and keep track of your battery life.
The phone has to be on when the power cable is connected and when the power cable is disconnected.
But during the charging process you can turn off your phone.

Currently only SGS7/Edge, LG G5 can show data recorded before the app was installed.
Some Samsung devices are known to not recognize offline charging. This is due to the phones behaviour.
We can't change that.

- Why has the phone to be running when I connect/disconnect the power cable?
The android OS wakes the App up if a power supplier is connected. Thanks to that the App consumes nearly no battery but the phone has to be turned on.
- What is a charge cycle?
A charge cycle is a full charge and discharge process. If you charge your phone from 50 % up to 100 % it is equal to a half charge cycle.
- What happens if my phone has reached 750 charge cycles?
Nothing. Many batteries bear about 750 charge cycles before they are defect. A battery is defect if it has less than 80 % of the original capacity.
- What is the meaning of the speedometer?
The speedometer tells you how many percent you have charged today. 100 % is one charge cycle. If the needle is in the green section your battery has an estimated lifetime of 2.5 up to 3 years.

This app is useless if I can't rely on it to keep my stats. It probably wiped after the last update. Now I have no idea how many cycles my phone had. (I installed the app shortly after getting this new phone, so it was a pretty accurate counter. No longer is this the case.)

Does not record charging on Oppo Rk7 Lite. Edit: Phone is always on when charging and I sometimes get the dis/connected message and sometimes not.

For nerds like me, this app is awesome. I install it on my devices from day one, and it helps me monitor how much power I actually use. Although the Moto Z Play already has wonderful battery life, this app tells me how much I actually charge each (sometimes other) day.

Counts only charges since installing the app... Cloud saving would be nice because now you need to manually write down the number when you re-install, service your phone etc in case to monitor the total number of charges!

The only app I've found that counts charge cycles --- a highly useful and apparently underrated piece of information. Love the speedometer and the breakdown of averages. Time will tell how accurate the metrics are. Until then, I'll reserve my 5th star. But overall, this is a clean, useful, and well-designed app. I'd consider adding some kind of visual indicator as to what constitutes a healthy temperature range --- seeing that my battery is at 26.7 C doesn't tell me much without any kind of context .

I was looking for an app that keeps track of charge cycles. Wish it had an option to also keep track of the source, i.e: Wall charger, solar panel, etc, so I could keep track of my solar charge cycles.

Pretty good application for Samsung phones. Switch to OnePlus or any other OEM device it will not show charge cycles even though they are counted by the device.
