Eine funktionsreiche App und bietet Satellitenkarten (online) sowie topographische Karten (in empfangsarmen oder empfagnslosen Zonen).
Ausserdem zeigt es mit Genauigkeit den Punkt, in dem man sich befindet und auch ob in der Nähe Wildschutzgebiete sind. Dazu kann man auch kontrollieren, in welchem Sektor man ist.
Es bietet auch eine grosse Hilfe für die Abschüsse im 3er Kontingent. Mit einer einfachen Grafik werden die verschiedenen Kombinationen angezeigt. Wenn man die bereits erlegten Tiere hervorhebt, gibt die App sogar ab, was noch geschossen werden kann. Last but not least, JagdGR kann eine gute Hilfe für die offizielle Jagdstatistik sein: Ortschaft, Lokalname, Sektornummer, H.ü.M., Datum, Zeit, GPS-Koordinaten (Schweiz) werden angezeigt.
Eine andere nützliche Funktion zeigt die verschiedenen Jagdperioden sowie die Schusszeiten (Hoch- und Niederjagd) und die jagdbaren Arten in den ausgewählten Perioden.
