About PostFinance Mobile

Have your banking transactions under control in just a few seconds.
You can find the most important information and functions in the PostFinance App easily by using your fingerprint: Check the balance of your accounts and the latest account transactions quickly and easily, transfer small amounts to your friends’ mobile numbers, purchase digital credit from iTunes, paysafecard, PlayStation, Netflix, Spotify and much more. With “Scan + Pay” you can enter your inpayment slips directly using your smartphone’s camera and approve the invoices immediately.

Here’s how easy it is
In order to access these features you must connect your mobile phone number to your private account once. To do so, you require your PostFinance Card and the yellow card reader. You can use the password you have defined yourself or your fingerprint for all further access.

An overview of the practical functions
Check your account balance and transactions:
Call up your balance and the most recent transactions on your payment and savings accounts

Send money:
Send your friends small amounts of money using their mobile phone number or by entering their IBAN

Scan inpayment slips:
Scan the inpayment slip simply and conveniently with your smartphone’s camera and approve it for payment in e-finance immediately or later.

Credit and prepaid credit:

Digital PostFinance Card – make contactless payments at the checkout

Do you own a tablet? PostFinance also offers an app that has been optimized for the tablet. The fast service is not supported on the tablet.

My SIM card dose not contain mobile id feature but when I use BCV bank mobile app, it easily provides me option to login through app without need of any device. But with post finance app everytime i need the device to insert card to login which is quite annoying and dose not provides efinance view directly rather giving option only to see fast service view. Not completely a best app.

NFC payment was unreliable, is now 100% broken. Random "Postfinance has crashed" popups even when not using the app. Fast service works - fingerprint access is nice. Can scan bills but paying them still requires a full 2.5-factor login with card, cardreader, card PIN and online banking password.

I repeatedly get a warning that this app is draining my battery, despite not even using it neither having opened it. As the login process is as onerous as using a laptop there is no additional benefit using it, so eventually, I uninstalled this app.

Invoices downloaded as pdf now working, but I'm unable to activate the digital postfinance card on my Essential PH-1. On other phones (Huawei, Xiaomi) registration was OK, but I was never able to pay at a terminal, the devices were either not recognized or the terminals showed an error.

Battery drain issue. Just recently my battery consume more. I get notifications that postfinance is in the backgroung using my juice. In the battery settings in the top 5 apps although i don t use the app. Please fix this.

Die App ist an sich sehr gut, jedoch müsste man die Option haben, dass Zahlungen mit der eFinance Card nur bei entsperrtem Gerät getätigt werden können und nicht schon bei eingeschaltetem Display (falls das Gerät gestohlen wird..).

Function for redemption of fund custody money is hidden away from the page of fund custody accounts. From there you can only subscribe founds. If you would like to use redemption you need to go through several different topics and pages before finding it hidden away in a completely different app title folder than fund custody account

Works well. What annoys me is that the Fast Service needs to be set up from scratch when getting a new phone (takes way too many steps). Two requests to get more stars: - Use Google Smart Lock for Passwords so that the setup is synced automatically and securely to the new phone. - Make setting a password optional if the phone has a fingerprint sensor. I *never* use the password.

4 out of 5 stars due to no functionality at all for credit cards in Fast Service mode. would have been so much better if there was at least a balance check or charging a prepaid in Fast Service mode. other than that app delivers perfectly what it promises.

I've had several problems in the previous versions (like root incompatibility and such). Now the app works really well: the fingerprint unlock is awesome. Can you please add a feature to manage the credit cards balance (load and view balance) in the Fast Service menu? It will be a nice improvement and might come handy (currently loading a CC can be done only via E-Finance)

It was a wonderful app...before the update of my smartphone to Android 6. Now I cannot even start it; I click on the app and it crashes immediately. I already submitted a bug report...I hope in a fix

Was working perfect until Android 8.0, now I sadly can't use the most useful feature, being the NFC Pay via the digital card. I've talked to support and they said it would be fixed soon, already been 3 weeks though :(

Same issue: "every time there is an update I have to register again for the same "digital" card for making NFC-chip payments". I did write to Contact Center on June 1st! It took more then a week to reply. The answer was "We are in the process of developing a bug fix for this problem. The deployment date for the bug fix is not yet known." My next question (about how I can be informed, that issue is fixed) was ignored :(. Also "WHAT'S NEW" section in Google Play has no mentioning about fixing this issue as well :(

There is a problem with the finger print recognition as whenever I try to set it up, I always get an error: Too many attempts. Try again later. Even after 24h from last attempt I get the same error...

Grundsätzlich tolle, innovative App: Login per Fingerabdruck (Schnellservice), Mobile ID und v.a. auch die digitale Postkarte. GRUNDSÄTZLICH. Schade wenn dann gar nichts so richtig funktioniert unter Android Oreo (8.0.0). Bezahlen per NFC ist kaputt und der Support lässt einem das App einfach ständig neu installieren und sich neu registrieren. Ohne Wirkung. Es kann doch nicht sein, dass das neuste Betriebssystem nach Wochen noch nicht unterstützt wird!

I'm not sure if this is an app issue, but mobile ID log in only works 1 out of 7 times. There really need to be some fix to this, because it defeats the whole purpose of the app. The app also crashes and is buggy.

Troubles while standing in Migros (basement) at the checkout: It was not possible to open the app for payment without having internet access! Can you please extract the payment feature "Digital PostFinance Card" of having to have internet, since it is not necessary for the payment itself.

Inpayment slips scanning didn't recognize corectly and didn't validate the reference number on the invoice and I have to pay CHF30 for tracking back my transfer. You shouldn't provide functionality that is not reliable.

Every time there is an update I have to register again the same card for making NFC-chip payments. It's quite unfortunate to be able to pay one day at the counter of the supermarket and the next day not because the last update cannot reuse the previously registered card.

The app has improved a lot! It's really cool that I can use my PF Card with NFC Android Tap&Pay. The UI is nicer but still a huge mess, no consistency and very little logic (complaints regarding UI&UX have been met with "it's according to CI rules" and "es wird keine Stellung genommen" which is disappointing). The biggest pain point for me is that there still are no credit card features. I can't see my CC payment history, available limits or maybe even push notifications on payments (as SMS notifications have a lower limit of 40.-). Would be great to get all the CC features into the app. (Btw. On Android 8.0 Oreo I keep getting crash notifications from the app) //Edit: The Digital PF Card can not be registered anymore. Error S416. The called the contact center but even after many tries it did not work anymore. This happened after a complete reset of my phone and subsequent app reinstall.
