Writer Sync (Google Drive)

Maybe this works for Writer+ files only, but it doesn't really 'sync' files in the drive folder. This just pushes writer+ files to drive, it doesn't sync other files. I have a notes folder in "Drive/Notes" that I write to from stackedit (chrome) , vim (desktop) and am looking for an android solution too. So I have the same notes everywhere, all in markdown. I thought this would be the Android solution because writer+ looks nice and clean.

I really like the Writer Plus app, but the Writer Sync doesn't really "sync" the Writer Plus with Google Drive. The files in the Writer Plus folders are missing after I sync it with Google Drive. I was really afraid I lost my files. I have read other reviews and I thought this problem was already fixed, but I guess it's not fixed yet. I really hope this problem will be fixed soon, since I really like Writer Plus.

Absolutely the best!!! Clean and very useful. Lots of features (some that are a little confusing) but I absolutely can't live without it now. Has a backup to SD card feature so I am sure my notes are safe and as a writer I need that....thank you .

The word is INCONVENIENT.. I mean come on the app is so perfect... give a backup option in setting.. Cant hav an extra app just to sync..combine these 2 and you will hav the best app in the entire playstore... chrees.. Keep up the good work.. Looking forward for an update that fixes this

After the second sync, some files from the app itself were removed. I panicked and thought they were deleted, but they were in my Drive. It would be great if the files wouldn't disappear from the app after syncing.

Very bad sync, lost files in each sync. Please fix it becouse writer plus very good up, but whith out sync isnt bad.

Does exactly what it says. Simple to use with no clutter. However there are still significant sync issues that remove files from the phone when they are synced to a Google drive.

It's a start. Ideally I'd like to have my notes automatically backed up, not have to open this separate app and manually sync.

it deleted the character bio i created, along with some other writer plus files... not happy... :/

Doesn't actually sync, I had years of work backed up and I actually thought was backing up too, now i have a new phone and it says there is no backup this app has wasted all the hard work i had.

Nice app, does what is expected. However, what would be great would be if the two apps were combined together!

A synch update MOVES files onto Google Drive rather than copying them. This means the original document disappears from the local Android storage after a second synch. Please fix, remind me, and I'll come back and change this review text, 'cause I love your writing tools and use them all the time. Thanks!

For a completely unknown reason, files have a tendency to disappear from my WriterP+ folders when I sync. I've been lucky in my last few attempts that at least the copies on Google Drive stay put, so I'm not *actually* losing anything but it's still annoying. A uninstall/reinstall MAY have fixed it but time will tell.

If you sync the files to Google Drive and then sync again, the application deletes all the files from your phone but keeps them on Google Cloud. Very bad!

The Sync doesn't always work between devices. Sometimes files that are on Google drive are not sync'd and other times deleted.

This app doesnt work at all -it says google drive access failure.

Really helpful for people on the go to sync with their home computer

I've been trying to sync for several hours now. Everything else seems really user friendly.

Using both Apps together helps the first-time writer, and the experienced alike.

I just wish I had downloaded this before my phone bricked itself and I lost all my notes HA! But none the less, this works great.

Works like it says it would. I've tested it on two different devices and saw no problems.
