About Krypton Anonymous Browser

Krypton Anonymous is the most private web browser*. It comes bundled with Tor, mitigates common fingerprinting techniques, and uses HTTPS Everywhere. Krypton Anonymous never saves data about you or your browsing habits. It’s a locked-down experience for when you want to be sure of your privacy.

- Private: History, cookies and site data are never stored on disk, and never transmitted.
- Secure: Each tab is isolated in a separate OS process. Every tab is treated as a distinct instance, with its own memory storage and state.
- Anonymous: Enable Tor with a single tap to hide your IP, avoid surveillance, and circumvent censorship. Includes HTTPS Everywhere, and mitigates common fingerprinting techniques.
- Beautifully simple: Built with love and careful design. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered.
- Open source: We’ve open sourced our core library so everyone can critique and build on our work.

Krypton Anonymous is for those moments you want to be completely anonymous online. If you're looking for a private, secure, but more lightweight browser, try out the sister app, Krypton Browser.

*Krypton Anonymous is beta software! We fully expect that there are improvements to be made, and will be continually improving the app experience, especially with your help.

**We know a lot of folks are having trouble running Krypton Anonymous on Marshmallow/Android 6.0. Rest assured that our 2-person team is hard at work in the evenings when we get home from our other jobs! An update is in progress. Stay tuned, and stay private :)

"Stopped working" alert and then doesn't load any webpage (HTC 10, Android 6). Please fix, I also have the paid version.

Not bad but no browser can be "completely anonymous" that's simply not how the internet was created. It was supposed to be trusted servers and computers connecting to other trusted servers and computers, so there were no security protocols. Now there are but you can still be tracked no matter what you do. But there is a matter of how hard it is to 'track' you and this is a good step in that direction.

C70%
by C####:

Sometimes the bottom bar doesn't show up and alot of times websites won't load

Y70%
by Y####:

Folks. Loving this browser and the security concept around your idea. Will recommend this to my customers as a one to use over Firefox or Chrome. There appears to be a bug affecting my Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge with android 5.1.1; the tor agent us permanently stuck in a on / off loop and does not connect. Looking forward to seeing this fixed

R70%
by R####:

It works quite well, But it Isn't Always on; as indicated in the settings!! When you R on Twitter & the url is opened by your browser; you have Wait for the green onion to turn back on!! 5★'s if you fix this!!!

U70%
by U####:

Although it works very well for a browser in terms of privacy, security, performance, it still unfortunately leaks your ip from webrtc and is prone to the new freakattack vulnerability

R70%
by R####:

I like the concept and aesthetics of this browser. But I find my self switching to another because something doesn't work (like downloads or images don't display, or not being able to save images). I expect once it's out of beta it will be a great browser.

R70%
by R####:

It says Tor only works if ypu pay for it separately. Very slow. Tor doesn't work. Much rather go for Dolphin Private Browser.

R70%
by R####:

Used to be my go to browser. Upgraded my handset to android 6.0 now app fc. Lg D-415

M70%
by M####:

YOU SHOULD NOT BE KEEPING LOGS OF SORT!! Also, tour will not stay connected, and no I'm not paying for it just to turn off ads when the free version is so broken.

R70%
by R####:

It would be a 5/5 if the paid version ad block worked and tor always on never connects.

R70%
by R####:

Tor won't remain started, continually disconnected on LG V10. Posting as developer bug note. Will change rating on ack

F70%
by F####:

Can't run on lollipop OS. Works fine on Kit Kat. Tablets may or mayn't work (vk815 5.0.2, galaxy 4 4.4.1, dud). Slow support.

R70%
by R####:

I wouldn't use it for my everyday browser but I would use it for ad ridden websites and things of that.

R70%
by R####:

Starting tor.. Stopping tor !! 5.0.2 uninstalling tor.

R70%
by R####:

I was using Dolphin as my main browser for years but because of privacy concerns I looked for more secure browsers. After looking at few I came across Krypton and tried it and really liked it, so I paid £1.55 for the Ad Free version too. Would be nice to be able to create folders for bookmarks but apart from that it's great.

R70%
by R####:

The app crashes every time I try to open it. Android M, Nexus 5

I70%
by I####:

Great browser on previous Android versions! Unfortunately not working on the latest and have been patiently waiting for the fix. I have the paid version and will give 5 stars when I can actually use it again.

R70%
by R####:

I love the browser so far with Tor and all the other additions but the browser's still affected by the WebRTC flaw. It'd be great if there's an toggle on and off for that.

W70%
by W####:

This used to be my go to app for accessing Tor but since I got all fancy with a Android 6 phone it will not work. I hope you update soon for your fancy clients.

R70%
by R####:

If you go to your home screen or use a different app and you go back to this app, you would have to reconnect to tor. If they change it so it maintains the connection I will 5 star.

X70%
by X####:

Unfortunately doesn't work on android 6.0

E70%

Get a proper investor, work on this full time! Not working in Android N

Update 02/13/16 went with premium to show support, sorry guys, didn't realize you work two jobs keep up the good work! Anyway to change the font size?

R70%

It was the best one but this version has issues with the newest android os, hence only 3 stars. Been waiting for the update for some time now - bring it on please, and I will give you the 5* again!

R70%
by R####:

Super simple, easy to use, fast, and secure. No history, no ads, no cookies, HTTPS everywhere by default, DDG search, and bootstraps the onion on/off with one click if that's your preference. Whats not to like?

X70%
by X####:

Krypton Anonymous definitely has the potential to be an excellent browser for user privacy but contains an unpatched WebRTC exploit which allows leaking of your actual IP address when using Tor. I have attempted to get in contact with the developers about this vulnerability but they aren't responding to my emails. Do NOT rely on this browser for strong anonymity.

R70%
by R####:

Very simple to use, automatically sets up and uses Tor, must have app.

R70%
by R####:

App Stop working on my Sony Xperia Z 2 with upgrade to Android M. Never working after re install. Too bad. Need serious effort to fix. uninstall.

R70%
by R####:

Love the no cookie-ness of this browser. Especially love how separate install of Tor is not needed, its already bundled within!!! I had problems with Orweb using separate Tor so it was happy day to find Krypton!!! :(

Y70%
by Y####:

Thank you so much for creating this app. I was sick of google tracking my location at the bottom of their page even when I turned off my location manually on my android phone. Now google is f^cking confused as to where I am, so much so that it keeps asling for my password when I access certain things that should be synched by them. It's a sacrifice worth having. I choose privacy over convenience, and I hope more will do the same. I let all my friends on FB know about this app, and I enjoy it. Thank you!!!

R70%

Crashes every time I try to run it. On Galaxy S7 Edge

R70%
by R####:

It's a great private browser! Works well!!!

Y70%
by Y####:

Its a great app don't get me wrong! But why make the free version not have connectability with tor but then we buy the paid version and it has everything the free version has except tor and why is that? U fix that in the next update and u will get that last star!!!
