For a metro like Mumbai where last mile connectivity and traffic are twin problems that make commute arduous and boring, ShareACar is a godsend which is a climate friendly solution that helps travelers on the same route pool taxis or personal vehicles. In addition, you get to know new and interesting people from various walks of life sharing a cab, giving insight into different worlds in a largely insular modern society. All this being in real-time, eliminates hassles of planning ahead. Well executed!

I am from Noida, and use this app in may day to day commute - going to delhi for shopping or going to near by market in my locality. It is so convenient and always get some new good people on the way. One day I was facing some problem with my Android device and a fellow passenger helped me. So you see it really is what is says. I have a gang now to hang with and have fun!!

I am not able verify otp.. Just scrolling verifying even after I received the otp pin. Please check.. Other wise useless this app

OTP is generated and from past 1 hour it is still in verifying status, with no progress at all.... Cellular network is absolutely fine.. many users have posted the same issue not sure if you are looking into it and resolving the issue..... I have sent the screen shot with the status of verification

excellent security because its verifying me for 6 hours almost. i get an otp something and d app keeps verifying.. bullshit.. first design your app properly then talk about services

Doesn't go ahead of verifying number. 3 codes sent but not recognized. Update: no network issue here. If there was a network issue, i wudnt hv recd 6codes by sms. I work on home wifi.

Does not move forward after entering To and From info

I'm unable to verify the number got the verification code but does not recognize .

Just asks from and to locations abd does nothing. Waste of time. Uninstalling.

Stays on verifying

It does not search location and keeps on searching forever.

I can't even sign up, it automatically chooses my country "India" and I can't change it...what the heck? I'm in US. I've tried different sign up methods, all choose same country for me. My GPS clearly shows me in US. This app is junk

I used this service in Delhi and would like to say that nothing could be better than this .. seriously.. I am a middle class person and can't afford Uber Ola every time commuting to office, on the other hand no body would want to be in the crowded bus for an hour or more daily.. Using ShareACar I learned that we can always get the service of a comfort cab on the price of bus commute

I don't know if anyone is using this in Mumbai. After selecting the destination all it shows me is a cross on the map. Haven't been able to get a ride even after waiting for an hour.

When I press redeem it says request for redemption has already been received but it never redeem wallet balance

Good concept to curb down pollution.

Also, no options to schedule later to an hour....

This is what we need on the roads..with enough users this can make life so easy . The way we commute daily can be so convenient and cheap even for people without the personal vehicle. This app fixes all shortcomings of carpooling.

Extremely easy to use and helpful. Very intutive UI

The app design is good, concept is better then the competitors. But 1) There are no users in Bangalore! I checked for close to 1 week. 0 hit. 2) It drains the battery like crazy. My charge that last 1 days lasts for only 4 hours with this app. 3) There are lots of implementation bugs like, the travel doesnt get ended when reaching the destination( you need to cancel it), the app doesnt show the route travelled when the mobile screen is off. you are not traceable when the mobile screen is off, and many more.

I never received an email to verify my car. What a waste of time and effort. Neither is contact us link in the app working. Unistalled.
