Dragon Taxis Cardiff

Just some advice, agree on the price before leaving and don't use an app to pay for the fare. The quote is dependent on journey time, if there's a hold up you will be charged more money and this will taken direct from your bank after the journey is finished. In my case there was an extra £5 to pay. I tried customer support but to no avail.

UPDATED: I can't add any card details. I have tried on multiple cards and yet I cannot add any details. UPDATED- My banks fraud team just called me asking if I had tried to use my card. I wanted to use this app instead of Uber but I will continue to use it.

Works as expected. Payment made with app easy. Tells you when to expect taxi and tells you the car details. Very easy to use. Pick a date, time and location. View bookings, cancel our edit. It's all in the app. Superb

Used to be great but lately drivers are picking up fares that are the other side of the city and take ages to arrive plus some drivers just sit waiting. I now have Capital as well only because of this annoyance.

Car tracking and booking stuff also works very well. Can't fault it.

Used to work OK on my old Sony phone since reinstalling on my new Huawei it keeps asking me for a 4 digit code sometimes asks me multiple times before advancing to the booking stage never had this much trouble before although i my debit card and got charged for it

I used to use this app, then went away and when I returned, I've tried to use in my Android phone and it keeps asking for a 4 digit code which it has apparently text messaged to me, yet I have never received the code despite requesting several resends.

Your taxi will not arrive if you're away from town even though the app says 10 minutes. Service centre will lie to you and tell you you need to wait another 25 minutes because there's no cars in the area. Worse taxi service ever, worse app ever!

Worst app I've ever used! Drivers info doesn't match with app info. Lack of communication. Use UBER...

I've been a regular passenger of Dragon for more than a decade and I can't fault their service. I love that the app gives you details of your driver, the car and it's location/waiting time. I know so many of the drivers who cover the eastern side of Cardiff and they're all lovely. I wouldn't use anther company.

Can pay by card to get digital receipts and easy to use.

Installed as "worth a go", great little tool that make taxi journeys that bit easier.

Quick, easy, and secure. I love that you can track the exact location of your taxi. We've used the app for a couple of months and have stopped using other taxi companies because of this app.

Recommended by hotel & used it all weekend for our hen do - quick, easy & cheap. But be aware that pre-booked taxis might arrive 10-15mins early.

So easy to use! For someone who considers themselves a non-techie, I found this app so simple and effective! Even on a busy Saturday night in Cardiff, my driver arrived within minutes and I was impressed with how easy it was to select my referred payment method. I will definitely use this app again!

This is a great app. Love the car tracking and it's so convenient to pay by card. Like that I can prebook and have the option to pay cash if I need to unlike other apps. Well done Dragon a great company just got better!

Nothing beats this. Love being able to pre-book a taxi and without making a call. Simple to use and 100% accurate. Fares are also great regardless of how busy it is. Diolch!

Great app. Though recently it's been double booking taxis so i have to cancel a cab sometimes.

I booked a taxi using the app and it never arrived. I stood outside my house for 25 minutes waiting for it and I eventually decided to call them. When I phoned them, the operator lied to me on the phone saying that the driver had already been to my house and had tried phoning me. Awful. So that's terrible customer service on top of an app that doesn't work. I phoned Capitol instead, and they had a taxi with me in 4 minutes. Don't bother with this app and don't bother with Dragon Taxis.

this is such a relief after everything that's happened in Cardiff recently. love being able to pay by card, and being a girl I have noticed how the drivers wait for me to get through the door before they drive off. can't rate this enough! well done Dragon taxis

As a frequent user of Uber all over the world, I can tell you that this application is very primitive and the customer service is horrible! They reply back with snobbish ugly replies and know absolutely nothing about proper customer service when I complain about the waiting time! Why wait 30min. in the pouring rain to get a taxi on this slow app and service when you claim you're the largest taxi company in Cardiff?! I can't wait for Uber to start in Cardiff later this year! You guys suck a million times!

The app is simple but effective with plenty of great, straightforward features. If the journey is as good as the app then I'll have to give the company itself a 10/10, perfect

I'm a regular user of Dragon Taxis and I think the app itself is great, especially as you can check where you're taxi is. According to the drivers themselves though they have a new dispatch system which means that taxis aren't always dispatched from near to you. This causes annoyance for both drivers and us passengers alike as it's meant greater waiting times. I can certainly see this reflected in where my taxi is being dispatched from. Please rethink this system Dragon!
