Driving long distance can definitely be a chore, knowing where the next or closest rest area or rest stop to you shouldn't be. And with this app it doesn't have to be.
Not only will it quickly show you the rest areas near you, you can filter with a simple button tap to show just rest areas in the direction you are heading! North, South, East and West, don't get let down thinking the rest area is just around the bend, only to find out its only for folks on the other side of the highway.
Not only that, but you can search for locations not near you if you want to see whats in a destination area, and quickly snap back to your current location with just a button push.
Tap on the marker to quickly see more information about that rest area ahead, what facilities and ammenities does it offer? Pet Area? RV Dump? Vending Machines? Handicapped Facilities? etc.

Drove across the country twice, from East cost to West Coast and back. App shows every possible stop, but isn't up to date on any of rest area closings on I 40.

It's a good app, but could be great. I would like a way to hide truck turnouts which are of no interest to me. The only way I can distinguish one from an actual rest stop with facilities is to click the icon. If I can't hide them, at least make the icons different so I can tell from the map without clicking whether a stop has facilities. After all, I'm driving and not playing with my phone. Second issue: If my route is east on one interstate and south on the next, I can only plan my rest stops by alternately clicking E and S. Why not let me toggle each on/off independently so I can show BOTH directions at once? I don't want "all" but I usually DO want two. Finally - and this could be a phone issue (Nexus 5x) - it seems tricky to get the app to consistently detect my taps (I'm not using a screen protector), which is not a problem with other apps. Fix all of the above and I'll happily change this to 5 stars! One more wish list item: if I click a rest stop icon, let it calculate how many interstate travel miles away it is from my current location — thanks!

I bought this app last weekend when I was on a road trip to try and find rest areas on my travel route. The application does not show any rest areas at all! All I get is a map with a dot marking my location on it. I have a LTE connection and other apps like Google Maps work fine on my phone so this is definitely not an issue on my end.

Just drove across the country, I found this app VERY useful!! The only problem was, it doesn't tell you which stops are closed, just where the stops are.
