A. Pengertian Rumah


ecara umum, dapat diartikan sebagai tempat untuk berlindung atau bernaung dari pengaruh keadaan alam sekitarnya ( Hujan, Matahari, dll ) Serta merupakan tempat beristirahat setelah bertugas untuk memenuhi kebutuhan sehari- hari. Namun, pengertian rumah juga dapat ditinjau lebih jauh secara fisik dan psikologis.

1. Secara Fisik

Dari segi fisik rumah berarti suatu bangunan tempat kembali dari berpergian, bekerja, tempat tidur dan beristirahat memulihkan kondisi fisik dan mental yang letih dari melaksanakan tugas sehari-hari.

2. Secara Psikologis

Ditinjau dari segi psikologis rumah berarti suatu tempat untuk tinggal dan untuk melakukan hal-hal tersebut di atas, yang tentram, damai, menyenangkan bagi penghuninya. rumah dalam pengertian psikologis ini lebih mengutamakan situasi dan suasana daripada kondisi dan keadaan fisik rumah itu sendiri.


B. Pengertian Rumah Tinggal Sederhana/ Tak Bertingkat

Rumah tinggal sederhana adalah tempat tinggal berlantai satu untuk berlindung dan bernaung dari pengaruh keadaan alam sekitarnya yang secara fisik tidak mengandung unsur-unsur kemewahan, namun tidak juga mengenyampingkan keindahan atau estetika.


C. Fungsi Rumah Tinggal

Untuk melindungi manusia dari pengaruh sekitar ( Alam )
Sebagai tempat beristirahat/ tidur setelah beraktifitas
Sebagai wadah untuk aktifitas-aktifitas harian manusia. seperti : mandi, makan, masak, dll.



D. Syarat Rumah Tinggal

Kebutuhan transportasi terpenuhi dengan mudah dan murah.
Jarak tempat ke fasilitas umum mudah dan cepat
Jalan menuju lokasi kualitasnya cukup baik, aman, dan nyaman hendaknya lancar.


2. Lingkungan

Kesehatan lingkungan terpenuhi. misalnya : Jauh dari polusi ( Pabrik maupun kendaraan umum )
Penataan lingkungan cukup asri dan alami
Cukup ruang terbuka. misalnya : taman atau komunitas
prasarana dan sarana memadai. misalnya : jalan lingkungan, tempat-tempat ibadah, olahraga, taman, sekolah dll.


3. Secara fisik rumah itu sendiri harus
