When I scroll down to read more reviews it's just the same ones! Would be good if I could see the boards too, may uninstall for the reasons stated.

I Can't update my profile photo. Please add: A button to follow favorite reviewers. I'd love to Send private messages to other reviewers. A like button for helpful reviews. A categorized favorite products list. Thanks for adding message boards!

Makeupalley is my #1 go-to place to check whether something is worth buying or not - the reviews and ratings have almost never led me to a purchase that I regretted. Must have for anyone who likes to try out makeup and skincare!

It lacks some features that would made it 'pop' also search function is a bit off sometimes and gives you a lot of irrelevant data. As for being the only normal app for makeup, well that's a huge + from me.

Impossible to start your own reviews. Lots of discontinued products. Some of the latest reviews are over a year old. Will check out website and see if that is any better.

Yeah it's impossible to add reviews for new products using this app. I might return to this app if they added an option to view your own reviews.

I wanted to look up items based off reviews, but instead it was just a boring forum layout. You could only search items using a bar code scanner.

I always check makeupalley before I make a purchase of a beauty item! Honest opinions and it's a great way to get an idea of how well a product performs before you spend your money. This app has helped me decide on everything from face wash to foundation. Eyeshadow and even hair products. Everything I need to know before I make a purchase. Love this website and the app is great too. I find the website more helpful bc you can scan barcodes. I wish the app was more like the website.

I like it already! Love MakeupAlley! It tells the truth about products so you don't waste time and money on a poor product. Always worked for me!

You cannot search or browse reviews. Pointless app!

Wives makeup

When u want to read..say 50 reviews or even more the 'load more' shows you the result from the top all over again. Whereas it is supposed to show from where you finished reading or where the page or content ends. This must be fixed so we don't have to scroll down too long and find the exact review from where you left off and read the newly loaded ones.

The look of it is based on iOS software from YEARS ago. This is ANDROID. What the hell is the UI about?! Your app designer should be sacked. And where the hell is the ability to sign in with Google? Nowhere. So I'm supposed to sign up in two different ways to accommodate your lousy app's limitations, am I? The bottom bar is clunky & gets in the way. The ads are just the final straw. Ads are tolerable if the app is otherwise decent. This is an embarrassing mess. Got rid after less than a minute.

The app is does not have many features to it... all you can do is search reviews and read the boards... why can't I see my account? I can't edit my account or even see my favorites. I was hoping to use those favorites so that when I'm in the store I could refer to it and know what I want to buy or review... THIS APP DOES NOT DO THE SITE JUSTICE!!! CAN'T DO NEAR AS MUCH. UNINSTALLING AS THERE IS NO REAL USE FOR THIS!

Would be nice to be able to save the products I liked to a list for future reference (ex. for when I'm doing shopping). Would also be helpful to be able to sort the search results by most popular and the highest rating

I like to just read whats in the recent feed on the website to find new products this app doesn't have that

I LOVE MAKEUP ALLEY. WHAT DID WE DO BEFORE THIS SITE? I REALLY DEPEND ON IT, ESPECIALLY WHEN BUYING NEW PRODUCTS. MAYBE I'M LUCKY, BUT I HAVE NEVER SEARCHED FOR A PRODUCT THAT MAKEUP ALLEY DIDN'T HAVE AT LEAST A COUPLE REVIEWS ON. IT IS SO GREAT I CANNOT PUT INTO WORDS. YOU ALSO LEARN ABOUT NEW PRODUCTS AND REALLY GIVES U AN INSIGHT ON WHETHER YOU MIGHT LIKE TO BUY OR JUST NOT TRY AT ALL. I TELL ALL MY FRIENDS ABOUT IT AND I'M SO THANKFUL FOR THE SITE. IT'S JUST WONDERFUL!!!!

I'm sorry but what a horrible interface, does Makeup Ally's website no justice, where are the rest of the search options? Uninstalling

This app is great and does the trick, but I have 2 main suggestions: 1) please, please, please add a feature that allows you to add products to a list of some kind. That way when researching ratings you can save products you want to try for future reference. 2) plain and simple - just update the quality/user interface of the app. It doesn't need to be complicated (simple and to the point is okay!), but spruce it up!

This is useful to some extinct, however there needs to be more options with brand /product categories. New product's are introduced all the time and there has to be a better way to look them up. It would be nice to have a advanced or customized made simple for mobile users option according to ones personal needs. I don't like searching through hundreds of reviews on foundation that address issues so far opposite of myself. I still use pc to look or write reviews for the site but the format is different.

It would be better if I don't have to scroll through all the reviews from the beginning when I click "load more".

IT JUST DO NOT WANT TO LOG IN ITS SAYS CANT WORK OH PLEASE STUPID DUMB APP

On the website it has everything but on the app there's only a few things. You can't put up pictures, change your profile, and it doesn't even have any boards. Overall I think it's a really great app and I haven't had any trouble with it.

I am a superfan of makeup alley! the reviews are simple to access, the images are clear and the app is so easy to use!

What I really want is an app with the boards on it.

Great reviews on the app. I am a makeup addict constantly trying new products and usually am pretty happy what I pick up after reading some reviews.

I was hoping this would be better than the mobile site but it is soooo much worse! No boards! Nothing! Uninstalling.
