Tewahedo is an app designed for your Android Phones and other Touch devices that gives you access to a vast collection of carefully curated spiritual resources from one of the most ancient churches of the world - the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church! The beautiful and intuitive user interface makes using this app a delight!
Tewahedo brings you:
1. A curated list of articles, preachings and videos.
2. A well detailed, easy to follow Ethiopian-Gregorian calendar combo integrated with Bahire Hasab and Gitsawe.
Bahire Hasab is a complex counting system used to calculate the dates of feasts and fasts of the EOTC. Gitsawe is an intricate index system used as a guideline to refer to which Divine Liturgy is to be performed including gospel readings, hymns and preaching topics for each day of the year.
3. Media features to let you listen to hundreds of songs, sermons, narration of literary works, and a vast archive of radio transmissions from different radio stations.
4. EOTC churches directory that allows you to locate the nearest church and with just one tap you'll get driving directions. In addition, a listing is provided categorized by countries and states (for USA)

The recent upgrade released has raised the quality of the App a lot. I find the feeds feature quite engaging as it notifies on new items being added. Also, the Fasts and Feasts reminder is quite handy when you are preoccupied with things . . . The App has great attention for detail and is quite fun to interact with. I really enjoyed listing to mezmur, the only thing is I don't understand amharic. My native tongue is tigrina. And also is there a way I can play the mezmur continues instead of stopping after every mezmur. Your help would greatly appreciated. Thank you.
