TypeNote Pro - Notepad

I've bought a lot of apps for making notes, but they are either to complex to use or they only hold so much text per page. This one is just right. If you could add a highlight feature it would be perfect. Cheers

I must be able to set my dict or else turnoff spell check. The red underlining of my foreign words is vexing! Add tags or bookmarks as annotation across hierarchy of folders for 5; tag folders for loud applause ???? Desperate to have colour choice for doc in file view - even if folders must be yellow (?) the doc icon having a color that user can set means a lot for mnemonics. A note from a SHARE from an app would have a mark if it had been subsequently edited LATER. notes NEVER opened again would have a different mark. Internally, can we flag that a note arises from an app sharing versus clipboard pasting ??

I actually liked Typenote Pro the best due to its nice interface and its ability to sync with Dropbox. However, one can only open the the note files through the app and it hasn't been updated since September of 2016. Still a good app if you only use notes through the Android app but has no cross platform access. You were great, thank you, but I am looking for something that better meets my needs.

just bought this app, but it didn't upgrade my existing, it downloaded completely separate app - what do I do now? all my notes are in the free version... I'm not happy. Now I have to keep using the old ad supported version. What the hell?!?

Folders, subfolders, sorting all simple and intuitive. Backup to dropbox or SD card works nicely. Android 4.4 then 5 then 6

I am so glad I found this app. It is what I've been looking for, for longest time :) Very easy to use. When I first bought the app, there were couple things I did not like, so I sent the email to the app developer and he/she fixed all the issues I mentioned. How great is that! Thanks so much. Nice app 2 use

I have been searching for an easy-to-use, hierarchical note program that would allow me to create folders, and easily add notes to those folders, and always start with the highest level of folders. Best of all with THIS program, I can add folders within folders. AWESOME PROGRAM!!!

This app is great for taking notes and organizing them in folders. I also like that notes can be saved as text files.

I've paid for several versions, some of which I use. This app has certain conviniences others don't. Wish I could do some font edits, i.e., bold, underline, etc. But, overall, I'm satisfied enough to give 4½ stars.

Excellent app, by far the best note-taking app available for Android, IMO. I'm giving it 4* rather than 5* for three reasons: 1) When you save an open document, TypeNote closes it, and you then have to find and re-open the document, which is irritating. 2) When you select "Save" from the menu, it asks you if you you want to save it. You expect to be prompted to save if you close a document that you've edited, and you expect to be prompted with an "are you sure" message" if you delete a document - but you don't expect to be prompted if you explicitly select Save from the menu. Again this is irritating, though less so than 1) above. 3) It would be nice if there some way of opening and editing TypeNote documents on a PC. I know you can export them as text files but that's not the same. To avoid having to write apps for all PC platforms, one option might be to create a browser-based app that could be cross-platform. There are two main reasons why this would be very useful: it's much faster to type on a PC than on a phone; and it's easier to print from a PC than from a phone. But these are minor quibbles. It's a superb app. Sleek, intuitive, and great functionality.

I like to be able to format my text. Note taking apps offer very little of that. I like to use bold and underlined text I also love to be able to add attachments to my notes. I wish they would do that. However I will not pay monthly fees for such functionality. That's ridiculous.

I like how easy this app is to organize my notes with folders and the length of the notes seem limitless! (no character counters) and I can add pictures and can convert notes to a text message or an email. This app is very stable and never crashes or loses information. Best Note Application!!! I started with the free version but upgrade to the paid one. Thank You TypeNote!!!

One of the main reasons for which I bought this great app was its passcode protection feature, but it doesn't work for me anymore. Please fix it!

I like the fact that I can separate notes into different files. That's helpful.

You can organise notes into sub-folders, head a note with a picture, set a password...all I was looking for. For simplicity and ease of use, this is the best note taking app.

the UI path of folders of a new note added to a new folder may show the Root of the folders duplicated until go back and return down to the note. This a string concat error easily fixed. Add tags or bookmarks as annotation across hierarchy of folders for 5; tag folders for loud applause
