Rossa yang memiliki nama lengkap Sri Rossa Roslaina Handayani atau juga disebut Dato' Rossa (lahir di Sumedang, 9 Oktober 1978; umur 38 tahun) merupakan penyanyi berkebangsaan Indonesia yang melejit lewat tembang-tembang sendunya seperti Nada-Nada Cinta, Tegar, Hati Yang Terpilih, Atas Nama Cinta, Kini, Ayat-Ayat Cinta, Hey Ladies, Hati Yang Kau Sakiti, Tega, Cerita Cinta, Pudar, Takdir Cinta, Memeluk Bulan, Ku Menunggu, Tak Sanggup Lagi, Hijrah Cinta dan One Night Lover. Ia adalah mantan istri Yoyo, anggota band Padi. Rossa bernaung di bawah label rekaman Trinity Optima Production (dulu bernama Dian Records), Jakarta. Rossa sendiri telah menjual lebih dari 5 Juta album di Indonesia, belum termasuk negara lainnya. Album Rossa sendiri juga dipasaran musik Asia Tenggara dan yang terakhir album "Love, Life and Music" di pasarkan sampai Jepang. The Best of Rossa (2011) merupakan salah satu album terlaris sepanjang masa di Indonesia.

Nama Rossa mulai dikenal setelah merilis album pertama bertajuk Nada-Nada Cinta (1996) tepatnya dirilis pada tanggal 27 Januari 1996 dengan lagu andalannya Nada-Nada Cinta dan Sebening Embun Dihatiku. Keberhasilan "Nada-Nada Cinta" diikuti album kedua yang berjudul Tegar (beredar awal tahun 1999) yang semakin melambungkan nama Rossa. Lagu "Tegar" juga menjadi lagu tema untuk sinetron Suami, Istri, dan Dia arahan Putu Wijaya produksi Star Vision yang ditayangkan RCTI. Rossa juga tampil sebagai wakil Indonesia di festival musik Vietnam My Love, 26-29 Oktober 2000 di Hanoi. Pada tahun 2000 Rossa kembali merilis album "Hati Yang Terpilih" yang mejadi soundtrack sinetron dengan judul yang sama, yaitu "Hati Yang Terpilih". Meski sibuk menyanyi dan manggung, Rossa berhasil menyelesaikan kuliah di Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik Universitas Indonesia pada Februari 2002. Pada tahun yang sama, Rossa merilis album Kini (2002) yang masih didominasi lagu-lagu sendu seperti pada album-album sebelumnya. Pada album Kini, Rossa menyanyikan sembilan lagu karya sembilan pencipta lagu, termasuk Iszur Muchtar, Yovie Widianto, dan Melly Goeslaw. Pada tahun 2003, Rossa kembali merilis repackaged album Kini dengan lagu baru "Malam Pertama" ciptaan Melly Goeslaw yang mendapat double platinum pada tahun 2004.
