SNSD (Girls' Generation) was first formed on July 1 , 2007 formed by SM Entertainment. Girls' Generation is a group of South Korean female singers. They consist of nine members: Taeyeon, Jessica, Sunny, Tiffany, Hyoyeon, Yuri, Sooyoung, Yoona, and Seohyun. The first time it was formed, their name was Super Girl (female version of Super Junior - Korean Boyband SM Entertainment also output). Prior to becoming a member of SNSD , they have been trained as professional dancers and singers, some of whom have been trained in acting and modeling, as well as experienced models of advertising on television and magazines.

Fans often refer to them as' SNSD , short for the group's name in Korean, " So Nyeo Shi Dae ". Girls' Generation's official fan club S ♡ NE (소원) is taken from the title track in their first album. Events M! Coun tdown on M.Net July 18, 2007 became the first appearance of Girl's Generation. They performed the song " 다시 만난 세계 (Into the New World) " which was released as Girl's Generation's first single, August 2007. The single also contained two other songs, "Beginning" and "Perfect For You (소원)", as well as an instrumental version of " 다시 만난 세계 (Into the New World) ". The title song "Perfect For You" later changed the title as "Honey" in their debut album, Girls' Generation. The single "Into the New World" followed by promotional activities. They performed in the Popular Songs show on SBS, Show! Music Core on MBC, and Music Bank on KBS.
