Automotive SPICE is a process model utilised by embedded system development project to enhance development efficiency & product quality. The model have been developed by Automotive SIG in 2005 & had gone under revision to include industry feedback. The lasted version is 3.0.
The model is utilised by development group for improving processes and by assessor to evaluate process compliance on 5 ordinal scale known as Capability Level. Currently, CL-3 is required by customer.
