SimLab CAD Viewer, enables the user to view 3D models from SketchUp, Rhino, SolidWorks, SolidEdge, Inventor, 3DS Max, Maya, AutoCAD and Modo. By exporting 3D models as SimLab Archive files (*.zim) using SimLab Composer or any or SimLab Export plugins.
The user can also view 3D PDF files exported from SimLab Composer 2015 SP1 or newer
All what is needed to export files, is the free version of SimLab Composer 2015 (you do not need even a trial license), SimLab Composer, can be downloaded from http://www.simlab-soft.com/3d-products/simlab-composer-trial.aspx
The user will be able to:
Navigate large and small 3D scenes
View different cameras and states of the loaded 3D model
Play animations of assemblies and camera walkthrough

Not sure about other users but the app worked fine for me. Wish there were more options, it is pretty plane as it gets. I guess people can not read ! This app requires its parent program that imports all those formats and exports into its native zim file to be viewed with this app !!! PEOPLE READ BEFORE INSTALLING

I was looking for a way to view sketchup and solidworks models from various clients on my tablet and to open 3d models I made to show prospects etcetera. The description makes it sound like this app can open models from all these programs, but it cannot. You need to use their proprietary software on your computer to export a special Zim archive. Not helpful in my circumstance. Maybe it's good software, I dunno. But they need to fix the description to make it more clear.

Can only view files in dropbox not in gallery or on memory card. Barely even reading the dropbox files correctly

Advertised as a solution to view sketchup files on android, but requires an $80 plug-in that doesn't even convert dimensions. Useless for blueprinting or woodworking, which is the only reason I want it. Instant uninstall.

On GNote 10.1 This is easily one of the best viewers. It is very capable of loading large models and allowing them to be navigated. Please disregard the low scores; this is a very useful app.

What a waste of my time, it says it views sketchup files and guess what? It reports 'wrong format'. I read all the reviews, and couldnt understand why opinions were so wide. I can only think the positive ones are being reported by family members. Simlab, why do you make these false claims?

Besides having to install a trial exporter, once done, the android version at least, simply stalls, not showing any message or the like. It just displays a blank screen and, after a few seconds, it closes with no information at all!! Very disappointing.

In order to use a zim format one must download another program (trail based or buy the license) on your computer to transfer over say a Solidworks model. Did that and received a zim formatted file. Placed that file on phone and the program responded saying that the file was not supported. Needless to say after jumping thought the hoops and my antivirus had to block a add ware, I am very disappointed and do not recommend this app.
