Filmfest Düsseldorf

Das Filmfest Düsseldorf ist ein Kurzfilmwettberb und bietet dank der studentischen Atmosphäre eine ideale Plattform für Nachwuchsfilmemacher. Seit 2003 wird das Filmfest selbstständig und ehrenamtlich von Studierenden der Medien- und Kulturwissenschaft an der Heinrich-Heine-Universität in Düsseldorf ausgerichtet. Zu Beginn ein kleines Projekt mit wenigen Besuchern, entwickelte es sich bald zu einem der bekanntesten Kurzfilm-Wettbewerbe in Nordrhein-Westfalen und erfreut nun jährlich die Kulturlandschaft in Düsseldorf.

Since 2003, the film festival is self-employed and volunteer organized by students of Media and Cultural Studies at the Heinrich-Heine University in Dusseldorf. Initially, a small project with few visitors, it soon developed into one of the most famous short film competitions in North Rhine-Westphalia and now enjoys the annual cultural landscape in Dusseldorf.
