BASDAI Buddy

The BASDAI (Bath Ankylosing Spondylitis Disease Activity Index) is a validated diagnostic test which allows a physician, usually a Rheumatologist, to determine the effectiveness of a current drug therapy. It can also indicate the need to institute a new drug therapy for the treatment of Ankylosing Spondylitis (AS). The BASDAI is one of a group of classification criteria for Spondyloarthropathies.

This app can be used to collect pain and stiffness level and mail it to your doctor so that he can analyze this data to come up with the right treatment plan for you.

Please note that this is not the treatment for the illness. This is an app to help your physician to diagnose & monitor the illness & the treatment.

HELP:

- How to add a new entry
Under 'Add' menu, use the slider to answer the given questions, Press 'SAVE' button to save the Index.

- How to view your BASDAI Score ?
Under Report menu, select the dates for which you want to view the score, Press 'Search'.

- How to mail the score to your physician ?
Once the search results are displayed, press 'Export' button to share the report with your physician.

- How to view the results in a graph ?
Once the search results are displayed, press 'Graph' button to display the graph.
