About Sun-Moon Flat Earth Astrolabe
This is a version of my Yin Yang Radial Oscillator model which lets you choose a date and time by tapping the date shown, and it will show you the sun and moon positions relative to stars and Earth. Before the globe shills noticed it and moved in to downrate and discredit it, it had an average rating of 4.9! I just tried to make a Facebook page for the app and Facebook UNPUBLISHED the page less than ten minutes later and blocked me from their site! So there must be something interesting here... ! I love it when they are forced to show their hand.

You can pinch to zoom and pan. The yin yang shows areas of night and day. So you can check where and when the sun will rise and set, and see which constellations are visible and where. The red dot shows the centre point of the moon and sun. It also shows world cities with populations >1m and which is nearest to sun and moon. You can toggle all the plates (Earth, stars, cities) on and off as well as whether the display is static or animated by a clock. Now also includes a Moon Compass and daylength calculated from the model time and your latitude if you (optionally) allow GPS permissions. You can lock the screen to North, so that upwards is North, or lock it to the compass so the map orients itself to match your North in real time. Sun and sun shadow pointers display when the Sun is in visible range of you. When used in Compass Lock the Sun and shadow pointers should align approximately with your reality! Why not use it to make a sundial! It is a sundial! Align your device with the sun shadows and press Shadow Check to see precisely what time after solar noon is implied by the bearing of the shadows. You can also optionally display live flights updated every 5 seconds. Unfortunately this only covers Europe but it shows 700 or so flights typically. Today's weather and forecasts can be displayed shown at your location. You can now press the teleport button to jump to any of hundreds of cities to see the model and weather information from their location. Now includes Aerial View which shows detailed zoomable aerial photography on a regular projection, from which you can select a city and switch location to it, or long click anywhere on the world map to select your location in the model. It also now optionally shows you the sunset/sunrise and twilight times from an independent source sunrise-sunset.org at your selected time and place so you can compare the result easily. In response to feedback Version 2 just released has has a layout change which I hope makes it work for tablets and phones... I can only test on an emulator. This application scores over mainstream scientific application in two regards, firstly it is slightly cheaper and secondly it now includes a friendly DON'T PANIC button in case what you see causes uncomfortable cognitive dissonance, which will show you over 130 of my flat Earth videos, directly in the app. You can also choose to show over 8,000 airports.
Also you can now view an overlay of historical flight route data on both the AE and "normal" map.
You can use the new distance calculator feature which calculates the distance between any two selected locations in the world and shows you both the flat and sphere model distances for comparison, and marks the lines on bothe the AE and Goole projections.
Now also features optional layers for know ultratall structures (used as radio masts) and for buoys. These are clickable on the aerial view to get latest air and water temperatures as well as wind sped and direction. Data feed from the US NDBC.

I calculated this layer from the speed between each transmitted point of a large number of flight routes from real position and time broadcasts. I bucketed these speeds into a grid of 1x1 degrees and averaged them, then overlaid it as a heatmap on the AE map. The data indicates possible map distortions and shows a clear tracking boundary.

This would receive five stars if the 'Speed' button didn't crash the app. Also the time in the app is set to one hour behind the actual time. The app should keep the display turned on. Finally the backspace button should bring up a requester to close the app so you're not forced to close it manually which annoys me. Apart from that it's great.

Hi, Eye really want to use this app but for some reason on several different devices it stops working and auto closes. These include Samsung S3, S4 and S6 edge. LG G4 and two HTCs. Eye've been researching the FE for a while and would like to use this app to demonstrate to others. Eye hope this can be resolved.

it's really good it just keeps crashing on me when I turn my galaxy edge. So it's hard to use it, i will keep trying, and checking it out , I did not mean to down grade you. I think it's great you took the time to make this application. When I get it figured out, I would even donate to help you out, when I get it figured out. I really like this app, I share it with all who will listen, however, apart from the app crashing when I rotate my device, it also crashes when I turn on flight paths. Also, last night, 7-6-2016 around 8:30 p.m. the app showed the moon to be near Lima Peru, however, I was in Bakersfield Ca. I was standing facing towards the north and the moon was clearly directly to my immediate left, as though over the Pacific ocean, like maybe the sandwich islands. I understand FE and GE maps are absolutely different.

Thanks for taking the time to put this together. Does this app show how the light of the sun is thrown. I've been considering that one incontrovertible proof that the Earth is flat is the fact that Alaska has the long periods of sunlight and the long periods of night. I always used to wonder how that could be possible until I unlearned the Earth was flat. I'm wondering if this app could help prove that concept.

It worked great but the latest patches started crashing it. LG G4 Android 6.0 Edit: still crashing. Waiting for some updates patiently also sent a few crash reports

It's not the app, it's what the app is doing. There are games that take up way more memory and waste way more resources. This is not an app problem, it's a release of information problem that the powers that be don't want out. I had it working, but as soon as I released permissions, it crashed, and the rest is history, even after a reinstall it will not work again. So they know, and they know we know. Maybe the best we can do is word of mouth for now. But people are starting to wake up.

I belive in flat earth but i just witness thats the moon is not right. Its says on my map the moon has long since past by me but i see it coming up right now. The problem is that as the Sun Moves around earth the moon slowly falls behind each day the moon here just came up and at 700 so will the sun see so the moon and sun are not directly across from each other all the time. Actually the moon is out in the day sometimes with the sun. So explain that on your map would be nice.

hiya great app! the compass however needs adjusting because its incorrect for me, i have hand held compass and download compass apps and they work, just this compass that isnt correct, be awesome if you can fix and keep up the awesome work!

It is awesome however the seven planets do not move synchronized they have different speeds as the sun and Moon do as well it is why they are the seven wondering stars you have made a huge break through though hopefully updates in the future

I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 ( with no curvature ) but the assholes at Google did something and this app shuts down faster than Hillary Clinton sending aid to Benghazi. It works great on my Samsung Tablet, what are the red dots near the sun and the moon?

Very cool concept. The circle showing boundaries of the sun's light does not match what we see though. Here in NZ on December solstice the sunrise is 530 and the sun is near south America. If we can see sun the rest of the world should be able to as well.

You're a really good coder! No lag, no crushes, inspite of the pletada of functionalities. Hope those global shills don't take it down. I wanted to learn coding to do a similar app but the learning curve is too steep for me right now. Wish we could work together, I am good with design (CAD technician). God bless you!
