It has taken about 6 hours to backup my phone over WiFi. There is a USB connection, but that has been ignored! And the backed up information is pretty minimal - contacts, texts, calendar and pictures. Sold as a "business app" ... business needs to be pretty slow for you to have the time to use this!
having reported problems to the service team, they've been in constant contact . Now pleased to say the cloud service is behaving robustly and predictably. Have reported some language issues as feedback which would improve understanding.

Failed to work at all. Doesn't login from mobile phone to Pc after scanning qr code.
Works very well and incredibly fast over WiFi on internal network. Very reliable now with version 2017 of True Image.
Note 4. Allowed me to sign in and access my account. Started backup. Got to 40 percent and went into error. Signed off and back on again. Nothing. Went to another Wi-Fi account. Nothing, more error message. Removed app and re-install. Nothing but more error message. A joke.
However I try this will not back up my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, the desktop version has its bugs but at least it works, the mobile is pathetic! Had an update from Acronies saying it's a know issue but will be fixed on the next update. Fingers crossed as the desktop version is great, I use it all the time. Disappointed to find I've just installed the update and it still won't backup over the GSM network despite me having a strong 4G signal :-( and still not working over WiFi
The only problem i have with this application doesn't read any other characters like Arabic alphabet when I back up my messages and recover it won't show up it won't even recover
I installed the apps and it worked great for about a week. Then it stopped. Went back to my desktop and scan the QR code, but the apps kept telling me that there was no connection and that both the computer and the phone had to be connected to the same WiFi. I have only one WiFi in my house and they are both connected to the same one. Besides I have not touch my router for months! Go figure. After 10 times trying I decided to backup my phone to the cloud.
Both the cloud and local backup options work flawless. Not sure why there are so ma ny bad ratings.
It just managed to backup once 2+ months ago. Hasn't worked since. Uninstalled, reboot, reinstall many times = no help. Sent feedback multiple times. No response
The new update let's works on Samsung tablet and phones.
I have installed the ATI Cloud 2016 on my home pc and the software works flawlessly. I have also installed the mobile version on my phone (Galaxy Note 4) and my wife's phone (Galaxy S5). I can't get the mobile version to start the initial backup at all on either of our devices. I try to start the backup and within a few seconds, I get an error message and to try again in a few minutes. The backup never gets past 0%. I tried submitting "feedback" through the app but that too just sits and spins. Help
Works flawlessly on pc but won't get past initial backup. Won't even go past 0%. Surprised that such a renowned product would get past QA to go live with a sev1 error on one of the two largest names in the industry. Tried the suggestion on another review of uninstalling, rebooting and reinstalling. Still won't work.
Can't even sign in to mobile account now. Hasn't been backing up changes for days. Meanwhile, backing up PC data right now. Mobile is an utter failure. Days later - no response from Acronis and can't tell if this critique even posted.
Terrible product for Android. No backup on Galaxy S5 since May 2016. Pleas restore the past version as it worked. Backup stuck at 0%.. thinking of cancelling my Acronis True Image cloud subscription I can't backup and restore mobile devices. Don't bother asking me to send logs or provide feedback as it is unable to connect to the Acronis Cloud. Running Android OS version 6.0.1 (marshmallow).. Chewing up resources and batttery life while stuck in an endless loop. Disastrous!!
Love the desktop program, but the mobile app isn't ready to come out of beta yet... Despite weeks of attempts, I've never been able to get backups progressed beyond 20% on my galaxy S6. Real shame considering I happily pay for the desktop cloud backup services and I'd love to consolidate.
I have a subscription that allows for 15 mobile devices in the acronis cloud. All devices in my cloud dashboard show as status 0% (backing up) with a last backup date of -- something is wrong with the mobile app or the cloud connector as none of my devices are backing up anymore. Chat help says to send feedback through the app -- well that does not work either. I have tried to send feedback on 3 different devices and each returns "An error occured" Shame on you Acronis
If you wait 10-15 minutes it will eventually log in to your account. Must be some crazy encryption they are using if it takes over 10 minutes to verify your login credentials! LOL! What a joke, after you get logged in and click backup it just sits at 0% forever. Never does anything at all. Hundreds+ have complained, check the comments! Obviously the company has no intention of fixing the app. It's always the same reply from them.."send us the feedback report to diagnose." But that doesn't work either!
Just doesn't WORK! Will show that it is backing up but always shows 0% complete. Never backs up.

Doesn't make it past 17% when backing up. Same issue as everyone else it seems. Why release a product that can't complete the only task it's made to do? Anyways, I'll submit a feedback ticket inside the app and hope for a response.
Currently not working in any meaningful way on the Galaxy S6 or iPad.
It only backup the internal memory of my phones and not the SD card where all my pictures are. ..

Works fine so far on my HTC M one 8. Let's see how it goes. On my Asus TF701 tablet. This version seems stable and effective
I decided to not even attempt this after so many horrendous reviews Acronis, what a way to trash such a great name. This is exactly how great companies go out of business
Not fit for purpose. I bought a subscription to Acronis True Image Cloud to backup home computers + mobile devices. I thought I would try my Galaxy S3 as the first device to backup. It took a LONG time even with a strong stable wifi connection. One of the few settings is "Back up data automatically" which I though would work a bit like Google Photo. It doesn't, despite claiming to in the help pages. I made one change to a contact and nothing happened automatically. If you open the app it tells you there is a change that requires backup. You have to start it manually. IN THIS CASE IT TOOK 17 MINUTES AND 19 CRASH AND MANUAL RESTARTS TO GET THAT 1 ITEM BACKED UP. Again that was over a strong stable wifi connection. Positive - I think I have a backup of my phone data. Negatives - no automatic updates of backups, frequent crashes,, no way of amending what gets backed up after you make the initial selection.
Early days yet. But with good experiences with desktop backup and recovery software I'm sure this will be fine

At first I thought this app would be great. Thinking like the desktop software that the data was encrypted client side and then transferred to the server (cloud) where it could be managed by the end user. But I found a major issue with this after installing it and using it. 1. It appears the data is NOT encrypted client side, so the data is accessible by Acronis on their end. 2. There is no way to manage the mobile backup after it has been uploaded to the cloud. You can't remove items from the backup, you can't even delete the backup itself. (you can remove the device but the backups are NOT DELETED) If you need to delete the backup you will need to open a case with them to do it for you on the back end. I'm not too happy with NOT being in control of my backed up mobile data. Minus stars if I could. Bad design, this is not doing anything to promote trust on my end that's for sure. Before I can continue to trust or use Acronis this will need to be fixed.
I use the Acronis True Image suite for PC and I am quite shocked at how primitive this ex use for a backup program is in comparison! No way to select the folders to backup. So I end up getting temp thumbnails of movies I viewed in Cineplex app, as part of my "photos"! No way to organize photo backups by folders nor categories neither!
This app just doesn't work, wait before you buy a cloud subscription if you intend to backup your phone, just a cash grab at the moment. Edit: Still doesn't work and still a cash grab.
As a long time proponent of Acronis products I truly expected better. I have yet to successfully backup any of my android devices. The program simply sits there spinning it's wheels and does nothing. I originally suspected that my network security was causing issues so I tried to backup using my unsecured guest network. Same issue. The desktop application works, but slow as a snail. The only positive comment that I can make is that the desktop application works perfectly when backing up to my NAS.
All these negative reviews must be makee fakees or I'm increadibly lucky. I found nothing wrong with this App after testing it thoroughly. I have used it on 205 PCs, 12 servers, 5 different Android platforms spanning4 Android OS versions.Every one of them worked perfectly, one before and after an os upgrade (5.0.2- 5.1.1.)Don't let all the naysayers make you choose not to install. Be not a sheep. See for yourself. If it doesn't work then delete it. I'll bet you dollars to donuts that it works for you too.
Got the backup to finally work on my LG G3 after multiple tries but it will NOT work at all on my wife's LG G3. If I can't get it to work shortly I'm going to get a refund and find a differnt more usable product which can do PC and smartphone backup.
Downloaded this app after subscribing to True Image Cloud 2016. After install, I started a backup immediately, which completed without a hitch. I'm very happy with the app's design, configuration options, and functionality. It is performing flawlessly. Thanks Acronis!

I just bought this and have licenses for many devices. The fact I can't get it to work on the first one and can't find any real support help is not encouraging. 0 Stars isn't an option so 1 for now. I'll change it if I can figure it out but I've already tried for 30 minutes searching and can't come up with anything.
