Welcome to the new WCCM App!
This app is in two sections. You can switch between them by using the Tab bar or on top.
1. The WCCM Feeds Tab
The "WCCM Feeds" tab is visible when you open the App. This offers you the key WCCM feeds from the International website, i.e., :
➤ Daily Wisdom
➤ Weekly Teachings
➤ Weekly Readings
➤ The WCCM Monthly Review
➤ Tablet Column
Tapping one of these links opens the latest articles of that category.
2. The Meditation Tools Tab
The other Tab, "Meditation Tools" presents you with three buttons:
➤ Meditation Timer
➤ Opening Prayer
The "Meditation Timer" button will open a "Timer Settings" window where you can choose your preferred bell sound and how long you want for preparation and the meditation itself. The latest setting used will be kept in memory - so next time you use the App you will find them already set as you left them.
To start the session click the "Start Session" button after you have checked that the settings are right for you.
The "Opening Prayer" button opens a popup window displaying John Main's Opening Prayer.
We offer this freely to the community and meditators everywhere. We hope you will find it a help to your daily practice. Please share it with others and also please share any comments you may have.

Have used this app for long time and had been useful aid to my meditation. However timer has stopped working. Meditation timer starts but then reverts to home screen after few seconds. Realized this is why my meditation was going on for a longer period! Have uninstalled and reinstalled app but same problem is happening. Can you fix this bug as it is a shame that such a useful app is now unusable.

This works great for centering prayer. Have used for a few years now. Highly recommend the bell sounds. Simple and useful. Like the way it let's you time how long before the first bell rings as well as long before the final the bells ring.

On my Nexus 7 every function except the timer works. The timer screen shows half the page in a jagged way to make it unusable.

Used this app for a year' now, meditating alone and with groups. It generally excellent. I have three comments on ir, as follows: 1 the soundfile for the gongs cuts short when the soundwave is still audible, giving a little hiccough into the silence rather than a fade 2 I spent many blessed hours meditating at Myddleton Square and would love that gong added to the options. 3 At over 16MB, of all my apps, this one is second in size only to Google maps. Can it be made any smaller? Thank you

Find this app an invaluable aid to meditation. Would it be possible to add a feature where i could turn off other alerts when using the timer? I currently use the app on my mobile phone and it is a bit disconcerting to be interrupted by a call or text coming through. I know i could switch the phone to silent but i worry that the bell at the end of the meditation would no longer work.
