This app helps students learn to distinguish the various sounds of American English, which is the first step in being able to produce those sounds.
Students can learn, practice, and take tests on both individual sounds and double sounds. The double sounds, which consist of a consonant and a vowel, were added to help students differentiate sounds in context.

I loved the app. The Test section is quite good as it compares the correct and the incorrect sounds. Wish it had also provided the feature of searching the phonetics of any of the word.

Thanks to this app I now know that the "n" in the word "button" is a glottal stop which also appears in "battle", "bottle", "gotten", and many more. This app also taught to me all the sounds of American English, a language that I have been speaking for more than eight years now.

This app also taught to me all the sounds of American English, a language that I have been speaking for 12 years now. How I wish that Filipinos (those not involved in the call center industry especially the educators) utilize this app so they can communicate fluently in spoken English.
