What are users saying about Meat Cooking Reference

by R####:

Not terrible but you can get better info on the web. No grilling times for chicken.

P70%
by P####:

Could do with optional metric units as used by most of the world! That would be worth at least another star.

C70%
by C####:

Why would something called "Meat Cooking Reference" need a timer? This app is free so download a timer app.

U70%
by U####:

Add timer and will be nice app. Simple, only info that you need. Maybe some forum with recipes would be nice.

Y70%
by Y####:

Perfect! Exactly what it says, it delivers a handy reference guide for meats with the added bonus of a measurments guide

K70%

Perfect for cooking meats & for reference as to cooking measurements. Also shows you what each cut of meat is.

F70%
by F####:

This is an awesome reference. Your cooking temps, however, are WAY off! Chicken should always be cooked to an internal temp of 165, regardless of cut.

Q70%
by Q####:

Des not show internal temperature or beef, rare, medium, well one, etc.

Z70%
by Z####:

Awesome guide when cooking in the kitchen. No need to search online and waste time anymore.

K70%
by K####:

Used it to cook burgers, they were right. Useful app

Q70%
by Q####:

All in US units, no metric, not very interesting, wanted it to have a timer function.

K70%
by K####:

Wish it had target temps for beef. Nice reference tool.

R70%
by R####:

Handy app but dev forgot something important- Really need wellness temps for steaks.. thanks!

S70%
by S####:

Does what it says. Chicken cuts are a little unusual, other cuts good for explaining to other ppl what they are eating

K70%
by K####:

The information is there but the format is lacking. Should use the cuts page as an interactive guide to cook times and temps for better usability.

S70%
by S####:

Be better if it had turkey cook times

K70%
by K####:

Nice reference guide. Just what I needed.

K70%
by K####:

Be better if showed you how long to cook brisket

K70%

Bad

K70%
by K####:

Very nice app chef here would like it to show the beef temps for specific rare, med, and well and could show the beef subcuts as well as the large cuts

K70%
by K####:

The information is good, but limited. The user experiance is pitifully bad.

K70%
by K####:

It has the correct temperatures as per the fda, but what about actual temps? There are 2 charts, the fda information and the temps chefs use. For instance, if u cook a whole chicken to 180 it will be dry, most restraint chefs will cook it to about 160 and let it rest to achieve a perfect day moist chicken.. Please update with restaurant cooking temps? Fda is correct but very overkill and much higher than I need to go to. Also needs info about resting times to help non experienced cooks.

C70%
by C####:

Needs the meat temps. Everyones oven cooks at different temps. So the time estimates are not right.

Y70%
by Y####:

Go boil ya weener...

N70%
by N####:

Basic but has everything you need.

Y70%
by Y####:

If there could be an option for celsius would be very nice

B70%
by B####:

Ok, what changed? WTF tell us what changed. Are there new meats? Give us grill temperature. What is a NY stripe?

K70%
by K####:

Very good just what I was looking for, how about some recipes now? Also where is internal meat temps, should add that for next update.

K70%
by K####:

The only update was adding a bs adware. UnInstalling

K70%
by K####:

It's fine, I just never used it.

T70%
by T####:
