Using the same technology as Morning Farm Report, Pocket Rain Gauge delivers highly accurate rainfall measurements based off your location. Rainfall measurements are calculated using our custom big data infrastructure and output from NOAA and NWS satellites.
To make sure we deliver the highest quality rainfall measurements, we’ve included feedback functionality so you can let us know how accurate our measurements are. If Pocket Rain Gauge says you got 1.3 inches of rain, but you know your field actually got 1.6 inches, let us know. We’ll use your feedback to make our measurements even better.

This app gives me total precipitation of the last 24 hours based on my phone's GPS location! I connected it with my free Morning Farm Report account and BAM, I have the totals for all my fields in my account!

Never updates. Have to reinstall it every time you want the so called hour by hour rain and then is an hour behind. A waste. Total waste.

Love it except for one thing. The measuring location is 20 miles from me. Wish there was a GPS sensor or zip code setting. I will keep using it and hope for an update on settings for location.

I love it, BUT it would be hugely useful to see more than just the past 24 hours. If it could show a little graph of rainfall, per day, for the last X days, it would be 5 stars.
