App has so many flaws. Google wallet doesnt work. Scanning ID never works.

I love how useful Air Bnb is for finding great and affordable accommodation all over the world but... I am also having the issue that I've seen mentioned here. I've booked a trip to LA but the app keeps completely freezing when I try to show my friends the house we are staying in! It won't load any details at all except for the first picture! Have just updated the app hoping to find this fixed but is still the same!

I love Airbnb. The service is fantastic. The only thing I don't like about the app is the search parameters. I don't like the plus option. Example: 1+ bedrooms. If I'm looking for only 1 bedroom, I have to wade through all listing (everything above 1 as well as all the 1 bedrooms). A few new security hoops to jump through. Mildly annoying, but safety first! Definitely doesn't affect my star rating. Other than that, I love it.

It got really complicated to book any place with airbnb, taking pic of your documents with a system that is not working, the assistance doesn't really help you, it doesn't allow you to upload the document properly... and after hours trying, the still want to check your facebook profile picture! Jesus like if i wasnt paying enough already. Make it easier and simpler, come on!!

The app is fantastic and I love how easy it now is to find just the right accommodation to meet our needs. The cancellation policy of needing to pay a service fee keeps me from using this site over others. Not always easy to book last minute (understandably) for some properties also means other accommodation sites might be more useful in those instances. That said - when I'm better prepared, this app and website is fantastic - easy to narrow down my options and communicate easily with the host. Payments easy. That said when a host takes 48hrs to accept your request the payment goes off automatically. After 48 hours it would be nice if we were given the option of opting out at this point. I'm this day and age of instant, waiting 48 hours isn't always my idea of good service.

Awful app. Kept crashing and I almost gave up booking a house. Took over 45 minutes to book. Any other non tech savvy person would have given up on the 1st crash. Fix it or I will find another website to book through

Well, this is my first review on anything, ever. I have used this app multiple times in the past without fail, which has caused me to rely on it faithfully. I also have many future bookings, however the new verification system has caused me to be locked out of my account and customer service is helpless. All of my reservations will be canceled in 24 hrs if my account isn't verified and some of my deposits are non refundable. This Is completely unacceptable, I will never use this service again if the issue cannot be resolved.

Booked a place with a promotion coupon and initially got charged the correct price and then the discount charge was applied on my visa. Called multiple reps and emailed them the screenshots of the checkout screen and the 2 charges on my visa but never got a response. Poor customer service that I shared with my friends/family.

Do not use Google sync to create your Airbnb account. It kicked me out and won't let me back in...even after a password reset. All I gwt is a white screen that seems to be stuck. Web version works fine but the app is garbage.

Trying to make a payment but it's extremely complicated they like to make sure that you have money before being charged and and so every time you click "verify" it charges you $1. This is the most difficult app to literally pay for your vacation. Don't complicate your time.

The app keeps locking up. Very frustrating. Also, the process of setting up an account is very tricky. They ask for tons of information. Then it kept asking to upload a photo of myself. Tried over and over. I think it is now satisfied.

İ was a fan of airbnb but in last year surprise(!) penalties and cuttings made me tired. After many great and hosting for five years i had 3 issues. It's not reliable for me anymore..

The hotel industry should be very scared right now. For someone like me, who basically uses the hotel for a place to sleep and shower, why in the world would I want to pay twice as much when I can just use Airbnb? The Apple Works, what more can I say? Admittedly the text could refresh a little quicker, if I have to nitpick. But other than that it works fine.

The customer service suck and it's just heading towards failure. Been an active host for 3 years and the first time i had an issue with a guest, he knocked down my bookshelf broke some $$$ valuables they wiggled their way out of the host insurance that they claim they cover all listing up to 1M which is another sham.

Its becoming increasingly difficult to use airbnb successfully. Hosts should be up to date with their calendars, and a double bed should also be listed as 1 bed, not 2 beds. Travelling with a group of 10 this time, it took ages to confirm locations were available and how many beds were available in each. Also, hosts trying to get me to book offline is worrying. These are established hosts with 2000+ reviews. Not an easy experience.

Just downloaded this app (v17.28) to my android tablet (running lollipop). When I try and log in to my account the app reports an error and says it needs to be updated and that I should go to the app store to do this. There is no option to update at the app store so I'm stuck and can't use the app

All mighty room sharing, no one can beat Airbnb. annoying part is host and guest fee. too high not fair enough.

Like Uber is for taxis, Airbnb is simply my go to for all things holiday accommodation. Convenient, genius and flexible. Minus 1 star for the scammers & dodgy listings which make it on the site too easily (for the less tech-savvy ones).

App won't let me log in. Says it requires an update but there is no update available. All the reviews I'm seeing are for an older version though. Turns out there is a newer version but presumably only for newer versions of Android. So basically this app doesn't work on older versions of Android.

The way Air BNB books offers almost no peace of mind. Their cancellation policy only gives a 50% refund and they don't tell you the address of your booking until after you've booked. They have no feature that lets you book within a certain radius either. I can't afford a 20 margin of error in walking distance for my bookings. And why should I lose hundreds of dollars if I have to cancel weeks in advance? Ridiculous. Their system is very poor.

Banned my account and refused to give a reason. I had done NOTHING wrong. Appalling customer service that doesn't reflect values of honesty and openness.

I was so excited when I discovered Airbnb, now I am not as excited as every single time I will find a place suitable and I try to book it, will increase their prices first when I check the dates and second time when I want to pay. Very disappointed.

Love the convenience of connecting easily with local hosts and booking. Reviews are helpful but app needs to provide some form of encouragement to post negative comments that are usually avoided. It should also display them separately so that they are not missed

Can't log in to the app. Application write that I shall update the app in the Store, but there are no updates, because I just installed the app from Store! Device: Nvidia Shield Tablet (Android 7.0). On my Nexus 5X (Android 8.1) the app working great.

Airbnb is too big and bloated to bother fixing or even noticing their Please Verify Yourself white screen of death glitch effecting tens of thousands of users. COMPETITOR COME PLEASE

The app is pretty smooth most of the time (especially if you're using a somewhat recent device). I experienced a few bugs here and there but overall it's pretty practical as you can manage your bookings on the go. Keep up the good work!

This is the worst app ever if u decide to host somebody. They dont care about you as a host they only care about collecting their money. A guest invaded my personal space and intruded my privacy and airbnb said theres nothing they can do. Worst 4 days of my life.

Once I rented an apartment I can't see the same description I saw before and that's kind of annoying since I have to search for it again.

Only useful to find some but not all available options. I never make an actual booking via the app as it is much harder than on website.

It's fine as long as you never have to contact customer support, then you're screwed. They've designed it in a way to not be able to contact customer support directly. They just keep redirecting you to FAQ

Messaging is not working on android app. Messages notifications pop up on my phone but when I open the app they are not there.

Unable to make payment through app I tried at least 7 time... but fail and last use website for payment so I giving 3 star...

Most God awful app I've ever tried to use. We are new to AirBnB and the process is ardous to say the least. Add that to the fact that they raised the daily price (for a 14 day rental) from when I began the booking to when it finally went to be paid at an increase of $16/day for an unexplained increase of $224.00. Quite a racket they're running. Want to bet if the owner gets that money or not?

Its more affordable than hotels and since visiting places requires you to be out most of the time it is a nice place to take a rest after a long day
