Restaurant Finder

Steadily going down hill. Two years ago was great for locating exactly what we wanted. Now, no longer includes many spots nearby which we know about and some useful categories went away such as 'breakfast'. Has also become a data drain even when not actively used for weeks. Typically my #1 data hog.

This app cares more about selling commercials then care about his user base. Ads everywhere, one of the worst apps ever.

I am here for restaurant findet, not an ads finder so plz rid ads.... no ads plz but you have to pay to turn off pop up ads, really?

First two attempted searches were met with ads. The second was 15 seconds long with no option to stop it. This is as far as I got! Uninstall...

I was looking for seafood and the among the first visible names were In N Out and Tam's Burgers. Removing the app.

Absolutely loved it.....

Installed the uninstalled within 5 minutes. I was looking for new ways of finding restaurants, particularly those recently opened. But, upon first viewing restaurants, I had to watch a video ad. Each and every tap from the home page afterward showed an ad. Just too frustrating to find the small "X" on the ad while walking. Removed.

Goodbye old friend. I happily used you for years until someone had the bright idea to force users to watch a long, boring commercial before you can even use the app. UNINSTALLED! *************************************************** Update - Okay, I've had a couple of days to cool off. I was extremely unhappy when I attempted to open the app and an ad started playing. We had a bunch of hungry kids and were looking for nearby pizza. At first I didn't even know what was happening. Restaurant Finder, which I've used for years, never played an ad on start up. I thought I had inadvertently hit Youtube or something else screwy was happening with my phone. But it is still a good app. The ad-free version is only $2, which is more than a fair price. So, the pro version is now installed and I'm changing my rating from 1 to 4 stars. The reason I'm not giving the app 5 stars is because it was still pretty stupid and really annoying to insert that commercial in the free version.

These eff'ing scumbags keep getting scummier by the update. When I first installed this a few years ago, I suffered through the pop-up ads, the price you pay for free. I hadn't used it in awhile until a few days ago, and now you have to suffer through video ads that you can't bypass. Alright, fine, I can deal. But the final straw came last night, at four eff'ing o'clock in the morning, when some audio advert woke me right out of my deep sleep. When you touch any button, the ad turns off, and I was unable to tell what caused it. It happened again this morning when I was in the shower. Today, I googled for this issue and, long story short, found my Android history at myactivity_DOT_google_DOT_com. Lo and behold, there is Restaurant Finder being active at four eff'ing o'clock in the morning and again when I was in the shower. BLOODY EFF'ING SCUMBAGS! I like the app itself, but this crappy behavior is something I'd expect from scammers, not an app found on Google Play. SO YOU ARE WARNED! IF YOU INSTALL THIS APP, YOU SHOULD KILL IT AS SOON AS YOU'RE DONE USING IT. OTHERWISE, YOU CAN EXPECT AN UNPLEASANT WAKE-UP ADVERT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT.

Rediculous app that launches 30 second commercials that can not be easily closed. Disaster and so in your face ad sender!

Title is misleading. Let's you find tons of different businesses, not just restaurants. Useful.

Plays ads in background! Middle of the night a video ad will play on my phone. App is great but the video ads are unforgivable!

Whenever go to map for restaurant directions, it takes me to Spain all the time...why? the map section is obviously not working.

You expect me to watch an unskippable 30 second ad so I can look at a list of restaurants? Nope.
