I like the app and the flexibility that it provides. I like the fact that you can set a perimeter and it will remind you to set the alarm. The only thing that I'm having a problem with is that when you arm or disarm through the app, it spins and spins and says that it is trying to connect; it performs the action and then reports back that it couldn't connect to your system. When you click "try again" it says that it completes the request. It's a minor inconvenience but something isn't quite right.

Garbage App. First the company doesn't update the original for 2 years. And now they release this broken version. I have had nothing but trouble with this app communicating to my system. I have no problems using the browser. Honeywell won't respond to my support emails, only my Security provider will respond and if trying to contact them.

Fed up with this app. It used to work, simple and efficiently. It was updated so users have weather. Weather? Just make it operate arming and disarming my system. I've spent the last several weeks trying to get it to work and it keeps coming back to Honeywell. IPhone, android, it doesn't work right much of the time. This is completely unacceptable for a security system. It is not reliable and is hazardous.

My main issue with the app and new site is that I cannot find a way to change/set the Home position on in my IP Cam PT. I'd rather handle that through the software instead of taking it down and manually repositioning 10 times to get it right! Aside from that everything seems to be working. How can I reset the Home position? Update:. Very disappointed. The reply from Honeywell directed me both to my provider and to send a message to Honeywell. My provider has no more access to set the home position on my camera than I do. Further, Honeywell never returned any if my messages. Not sure how this isn't an issue for more people! Update 1/20/2018: I am still waiting for a representative from Honeywell to fillow through on their promise to get in touch with me. Has anyone else figured out how to reset the home position on their cameras?

This app often has a hard time connecting so I can actually arm or disarm my alarm. It has nothing to do with my internet connection, seems to be the app. It also doesn't work with my Google Home device which is a big downside. Still handy to have but there are definitely improvements to be made.

Terrible. Takes forever to connect. Arms and disarms while it says it is trying to connect. Update this terrible app. This is supposed to give people peace of mind? Awful

Plain and simple, this app leaves a lot to be desired. It doesn't really matter what "fluff" features are added if it takes 10 tries to connect to my alarm system to simply arm or disarm the system. This should be the most BASIC, and well programmed aspect of the app. I recently moved from a house where I used ADT and the system reacted almost instantaneously when using app features so I know that it is possible. This has just been implemented poorly.

This for the latest update 121817: version does not work well the connection & the ability to switch between panels cannot be done reliably; it often fails connection and when it does is VERY slow to take commands or disarm or do other things and further when there is a fault, hitting star doesn't display the fault. Entering commands in the keypad feature is agonizingly slow, this being in my system on very fast wifi and internet. Overall, it's not the kind of quality I'm accustomed to from Honeywell and I believe that it would be in your best interest to put this application up as a beta and restore the ability to download the previous version with a blue icon so that people who are disappointed by this can restore their confidence in Honeywell; that said the web interface works...

Lies from Honeywell said with the new app would be able to control multiple partitions and I still have to use the virtual junk keypad to arm and disarm other partitions. Quit promising features you are not going to deliver.

Always "having communication issues with my panel it says..junk..if id known at time i had security system installed that it was honeywell product..id never bought it...ive had nothing but issues with Honeywell products for years now..and their customer service believe it is worse then their products...truly it is..and if ur reading this ..then u may have already discovered that

If I have the Geo fence set to alert me I didn't set the alarm when I left the house and someone else with the app is home, shouldn't my notification be suppressed since they're clearly in the house still? Why would I want to set the alarm if someone is home.

Love the app. Very easy to navigate. The idea that I'm am to operate any where is great. I can't think of anything that I would want to see changed or improved at this review. However, some helpful directions could be simpler. I still have not learned how to activate the text notification message. But, I'm sure to get it going eventually.

I like the newest look and feel and generally like having the app. The latest update, however, doesn't load my 'scenes' it just spins and spins like it's trying to but it never finishes. I really miss that convenience from prior to most recent update. I've updated this comment today and upped my rating because the issue has now been fixed and I liked the personal follow up from the development team. Thanks!

I like that we can now use our fingerprints to log into the app. And when my boyfriend is away working he can arm or disarm from whatever state hes in at the time of I forget to. We haven't had any problems since we got this a year ago

I wish it would access the keypad faster than 70 seconds after I open it. That's long time to wait to be able to turn on/shut off/etc. the alarm system.
