Vasuli

Vasuli is a Credit/Debit Manager app, that focuses on security for money lenders. It also lets you keeps record of all personal debts and loans in one place.

The main goal of the app is to provide money lender the needed information before he decides to lend money to the borrower. Vasuli will search its record files and provide details about borrower’s history, whether he/she has taken money from others, what is his/her credibility, etc.

Why was Vasuli created:
One of my friend was in financial crisis (according to him) and wanted me to help him with some money. I managed to give him 2,50,000 Rs. After few months when I asked him if he can somehow manage to return money he started making excuses. Because of our friendship I gave him some more time. After 1-2 years I met some of our common friends and found out that my friend had borrowed money from most of our common friends (and God know many more) and told every friend not to let others know or his reputation will be at stake. Then I realised that he had borrowed over 12,00,000 Rs (total) from a lot of people. I decided then that something needs to be done and I need to help other lenders to prevent this problem from happening. And Vasuli was born!

In Vasuli, when a borrower has an existing debt (registered in Vasuli) and borrows money from a new lender it notifies all the current lenders about the new money borrowed. This way all the lenders are aware of their borrower’s debt. Vasuli does not disclose lenders information to other lender. It just notifies about new borrowers so lenders stay safe and protect them from bad credit borrowers.

If a borrower fails to make payment to one lender on time, all the existing lenders (for that borrower) will be notified.
