Rogers Live TV Tablet (ATL)

FAIL! Does not work at all! And yes, I have a functioning Atlantic Account! Roger's should go back to whatever they did before TV and Telecommunications! And keep whatever that was, simple!

Can't even get the app to work. Says my password is incorrect. I verified my password on my PC. Useless.

Ok so Atlantic Canada gets totally shafted with this so the anyplace tv app looks way better and from what I hear is also more stable but we get this downgraded crap that doesn't even allow you to watch the channels you have it I my allows u stuff like tree house and cbs and abc but no history channel no a&e nothing good doesn't even show the guide on the right of the channels like the one from ont does also come on Rogers we pay so much for your services and this is how we get repayed with crappy apps....

The app claims to allow control of your PVR at home and also operate as a remote but it does not. This app provides only the RAPTV feature which the actual RAPTV performs better than this one. Ontario has all these functions, I don't see why Atlantic cannot now that the cable box is also a DOCSIS device. Great idea Rogers but please review your IT and dev teams.

Waste of time. Not even started but kept crashing.

When authenticating

This does not work outside of the WiFi network provided from rogers & does not work on devices that aren't on rogers data plan... As it told me that my tablet is jail broken (I bought it at Walmart) I should be able to use whatever device I want as this is free to customers!!!! This is just another way Rogers holds there customers hostage.... Boycott Rogers!!!

90 minutes on the phone trying to get this app to work with my PVR. there is no such function. enraging typical of Rogers

I can't even sign in. Opening screen asks for username and password but there is only a slot for username and nowhere to type my password. So when I hit sign in it asks for password but its impossible for me to even type it in.

I do not suggest you to install this application if you want many live channels because this app doesn't have that many. However, I would recommand you to install this app because it carries quite high quality in the live stream. I cannot understand some users who comment that they cannot watch in good quality, but for my caee, it works fairly good. I like this app. If there was a better app, I would've installed it, but I think I am confident to have to app only.

Asked Rogers about setting PVR recordings remotely via app. They told me to download this app. It doesn't do that at all. Doesn't work unless you're at home. Not useful at all.

Why would I need anywhere tv at home. ANYWHERE TV is NOT anywhere if it only works on your home wifi. When in a hotel in an other city, it says that it will not work because it is not on your home network. They should rename the app ONLY AT HOME TV

When you pay for a service and the company promotes it like crazy, you would think that they would deliver. At least give us the package we pay for, ie VIP.

Some channels work.. Some give me an error saying 'Streaming Application Error: Live TV content cannot be accessed on Jail-Broken/Rooted devices. For more information please contact you service provider' ... My phone is neither of those. Wasted download.

I have a phone with like 5inch screen can access this is crap

Horrible app or HORRIBLE APP?

Don't think that you'll be watching this anywhere but at home where you have your Rogers high speed Internet. It won't work on a different high speed connection other than yours. Perfect way to jack up your Internet usage...... And your bill.

I cannot recommend this a at all unfortunately. The video quality even on high setting on my tablet is not great and it stutters and stops very frequently, even on low quality. The tablet is on wifi and in the same room as my modem/router and still i have issues. Not a great download or experience, at least until perhaps some updates are done to it. I expected more.

this is the first app from rogers that works. holy hel . not many channels...

It can stream adequetly on my phone. The problem is that it requires you to be on your home WiFi or you must be using rogers data. I cannot watch it at WiFi hotspots or my data plan (I have a dual Sim phone and I use SpeakOut for data).

Half the channels don't work...ABC, Fox, NBC and CBS don't work...these are the major network channels that most people would want to watch. If you go to the help within the app, you get a nice "this page has been moved" no help! Leave it to Rogers to launch a untested, half functional app. It's a shame they don't spend as much time developing their apps as they do on marketing the apps!

Got some video buffering pauses on my cheapo Lenovo IdeaTab. Upgraded to a Google Nexus and it was much better although still some dropped video frames. The audio doesn't break up, but my video pauses slightly. Overall very impressed with the video quality on the default Medium setting. All the channels I tried (Treehouse, NewsNet, ABC, CBS, NBC) worked, sometimes have to let it buffer 30-45 seconds before feed appears.

Can only use it on my home network. Total fail, Rogers.
