Ottawa Transit: GPS Real-Time, Buses, Stops & Maps

Last update made this app worse than before. Ended up installing another one instead.

This app is awesome, however since the last update it won't even load the busses or the routes for the specific stops when you select a certain bus stop. Please fix!

The bus time for one stop will show that the bus is scheduled to come in 16 minutes, yet the immediate next stop will show it's GPS tracked to come in 1 minute. No sure what's happening and the bus comes at neither of the times.

Useless. Inaccurate information on bus times. Displays random times that do not concide even remotely with published schedules. Not worth the 6mb of data

This app often fails to tell you the one thing you want to know when using it, when is my bus coming? Not that is doesn't try, it just isn't always accurate. I like how you can actually see where your bus is on the map, but again I doubt its accuracy. The app itself is clunky and doesn't have a good flow to it. I often find my self scrambling through the options and menu trying to see if I made it to the bus stop on time to catch my bus, or was I supposed to take the bus that's now pulling away as a back up... It can be very annoying that you can't actually do any trip planning with the app, there's no travel planner like on the OC Transpo site, nor can you see future bus times, to do it the old fashioned way. It's been over 5 years since I had to last use this app and the busses in Ottawa for that matter, and I'm saddened to see the app hasn't changed at all.

It seems everytime I need to use the app I get a blank page that says 'Oops!' as it can not load the pages. App seems to crash often

I am glad to see the rush hour issue was fixed. This is a very handy app. I use it several times a day!

Google maps app is better for getting around. This is good for checking route maps, schedules, etc. EDIT: I think this has improved. I like that you can see all of the busses at once rather than selecting each route to check what is coming next.

Best app for buses in Ottawa. Sometimes it doesn't work properly, but I blame OC Transpo for that.

The issue seems to have subsided for now. But it was happening frequently before.

Unable to load times again and displays the "Unable query data.." message. Bus Buddy is more stable.

I love this app. Super easy to work. Very easy navigate. And was made with alot of common sense. Only draw back is adding stop numbers to your favorites tab.

Route 95 does not show 90% of the time

Was an amazing app until recent updates, now tagged forever to load and/or doesn't load half of the time

The interface is easy to use. The graphics/display are great. Very useful!!

Works well, stop info for 3010, 3a on booth is wrong, gives the east west busses instead

Good when it has data to display which isn't often lately. I guess oc transpo doesn't want people to see how pathetic their so-called service is.

Need to fix this app asap. 2018 updates keep crashing.

Great app. Wish there was a pay version to get rid of ads.

A must have for anyone who uses OC transpo on a semi or even regular email

*UPDATE: As stated by the dev's reply, the most recent update fixed the crashing issues and the app is working great again. Changed my star rating back to 5.*

It looks like they have worked out the "unable to query " issue. If this app works , it is very good for tracking buses and planning ahead

I really liked it until these last updates. Now the crashing is fixed but it will still not bring up the route or bus stop schedule when i look it up.

Love that I can see scheduled times while offline. The only issue is that some of the routes aren't showing up at stops I know they stop at, so I can't see gps data. (Example the 294, I can see the schedule in the app, but you can't find it at Greenboro or South Keys stops).

For some reason your widgets don't work on weekends. Works fine during the week, but as soon as weekends come your widgets become empty. And also this app needs to get android wear support with an app directly on android wear watch which is missing.

This was the best of the octranspo-tracking apps out there until the recent update. It's rare now that the app is able to query the GPS database. Seriously frustrating! Wait until this issue is fixed before you bother with this app. The company keeps saying it is an Octranspo issue, but bottom line, this app, unlike others that can still query the database, isn't working.

Used to work. Randomly stopped being able to get any route information. Doesn't appear any way to find out why it's not working so I have to assume the app is at fault. When it did work, it would have problems every other week.

Update: it seems the issues have been fixed. The app is very snappy and responsive, and looks good to boot. Also, great job on the dev for replying quickly to feedback! Original review: I like the look of the new update, but it is not working very well with me. Pretty much anything I try to do, I get an error saying "Oops, Unable to query data source". I tried using both Wifi and Data and nothing seems to work. I even tried reinstalling the app and still nothing. It used to be great before this update, and I hope the problem can be solved.

The app works offline which is best for me. It lets you see all the buss stops around you and gives you the bus stop's number so you can text it for the information. If you have data, it aparently gets even better by giving you all that info right away~ overall, a good app that does what we need it to do~ Only petpeeve is the placement of the add when looking at the stop schedules as it hides the last one of the day.... which is kinda important when you think you missed the last but you didnt? And actually miss it because of it? ****needs to be fixed please and thank you :)

Terrible app that doesn't work, however then again oc Transpo is the most unreliable , expensive, and CONSISTENTLY LATE AND UNRESPONSIVE transportation services so. I'm not that surprised their app sucks too.

Used to be awesome. All I get now with the latest updates is unable to query data source, or endless timeouts. I want a refund and uninstalling

This was the best app for routes, now I think it's the worse since the last update. Unfortunately removing it cause it's just taking up space
