My wish list for this app is: Custom notifications would be nice, instead of using the pre picked ones. Dialing out is kind of rough. The app tends to have issues with creating links to phone numbers. I would prefer if when you tap a highlighted number it takes you to the phone app without immediately dialing. That way I have the option of blocking my personal cell number.

Poor design that looks like it hasn't been changed since 2012. Does not take into account fingerprint readers, Android Wear other modern APIs. On call schedule is an old iPhone format thrown in that doesn't even match the rest of the app. Unfortunately forced to use for work. Please take Android more seriously not everyone uses an iPhone. Edit 11/21/17. Requested to re-review but no real changes made. Fingerprint would be great but not found anywhere in the app. Same design issues and iPhone call schedule still present. Only nice change was light more.

Need secure texting for work. If WiFi is on does not notify of text. Apparently they have no intention of fixing software or addressing these concerns. With better, more responsive software developers this app would have had potential.

Great app. Initially had an error message on my Samsung Galaxy S5 but Jen worked very hard to fix this issue. The pager function now works perfectly.

how can i use this app? i just opened and immediately asking for license! hello! no instruction at all..

The notifications do not work on my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. I've double-checked the app stuffings and my phone settings to no avail. The lack of notifications makes this app essentially useless.

Doesn't have caller ID hiding! The previous version allowed me to tap the patient's phone number and it would bring up my phone dialing screen so that I could add *67 to the number before initiating the dial. Now it just calls the patient directly without the confirmation screen and it does not conceal my phone number. So now there are a bunch of patients out there that have my personal cell phone number (since we use this app from home for answering service on nights and weekends) because I accidentally dialed them directly from the app. Either bring back the confirmation step or have an option to conceal the number I'm calling from!!

This app helps keep our Answering Service business and our clients HIPAA compliant. Extremely fast transmission of messages with date and time read receipts. Excellent support from Amtelco.

The latest release is so easy to use. You can tell security is the number 1 priority with this app. I can receive messages to my SMS or eMail on my phone but I can not stop my wife or son from reading them. I will admit they know my Swipe pattern to unlock my phone. This app allows my private messages to live behind a second passcode... locking everyone out. Not only does the app react quickly when I use it but the sending and receiving of the messages is lightning fast even when I have limited internet connectivity. You can tell someone knows how to create efficient native apps. Thank you!

I've just starting using this app for call (medical practice). The basic functionality is good: the displays for messages, contacts (other users only), status, and on call are clear and simple. One can check a message to acknowledge receipt without having to answer right away. Clicking an embedded phone number to call is easy, though on my phone, the number displays in dark blue which is very difficult to read (the message is in white on a dark background). A user option to block caller ID to dial out would be useful. The separate passcode from the phone is important and works well. My biggest problem has been getting messages. Unlike a pager, with miSecureMessages, one is cell signal dependent. Being in a cellular dead zone (hospitals, big box stores) means no contact or that you get notification of a message but can have download failures/app crashes. Also, the notification tone is not a separate user setting. An audible notification that is different from the messaging tone would help to sort work messages from social/family texts . If the audio rocker is accidentally toggled down, then the notification will obviously go unnoticed.

WIFI is Awesome. All the updates have enhanced the clinician to clinician communications experience and since wifi is all over my facility and when I'm outside the facility the 3/4g takes over there is total coverage. Its great!!
