HLS PROJECT Auditive Training

NOTE: USE HEADPHONES.

The main proposal of this project is to create exercises in the form of sound files that can be of aid to both the visually impaired as well as to audio engineers, sound artists or any other person enthusiastic about sound and audio and who furthermore is interested in training their ears into better functioning tools.

The exercises are meant for listening and practicing the auditive capacity to understand location (where the sound is coming from) as well as to recognize different sounds and their distances from the listener.

Note that these are all Binaurally recorded exercises and therefore they must be heard with headphones. These are not digitally manipulated sound files, just original exercises recorded with either a dummy head (Binaural recording device) or in-ear microphones for the Binaural effect.

This project is in constant development. With new Binaurally recorded exercises the gets updated. With better dummy heads and Binaural recording techniques the app gets updated.
