Initially it didn't work. Keep playing with the settings and it will definitely go off. The best thing about this app for me its the ability to monitor my sleep habits. I can see that if I don't feel good waking up that I have been moving around all night. Seeing the alarms and finding the alarms volume takes some getting used to.

S70%
by S####:

Worked very well for a couple of weeks, but now is convinced that I move every few minutes during sleep and don't have any deep sleep phases at all. As a result, wakes me up immediately when the 'grace period' starts, even from deep sleep. No amount of calibrating helps.

Z70%
by Z####:

I used this apps on my old phone and its fine. But on my new phone, eventhough it showed no pre-alarm and 5 min snooze, it snoozed for 1 hour and the pre-alarm started 30 mins before my schedule time, can't change it at all.

Z70%
by Z####:

This app is great. I use it everyday. even when I only get 3 hours of sleep it wakes me up at the right time when im out of rem sleep and not as tired. It will usually wake u 25min earlier than your alarm.

M70%
by M####:

Love that it doesnt leave my screen running while tracking my sleep. Now, if it only came with someone to drag you out of bed. I apparently have a slight problem of falling back asleep after turning alarm off

Z70%
by Z####:

There's a few insufficient issue I would like to see changed but that may be human error. Second day of having this app. This app is showing me that I need to consider a different bed. I get just 2 hrs of good sleep of the 8 hrs that I'm in here. No wonder I'm a bear when first get up.

Z70%
by Z####:

I have been using this alarm to wake up to for years now. This alarm always without a fail wakes me up when I'm in my lightest sleep, so i don't wake up as groggy. Be sure to take your time to calibrate it correctly.

Z70%
by Z####:

... are the key words. Lets me know how restless I really am, how long it takes me to fall asleep, and just how well I slept. It allows me to correlate how I feel with how I move.

Thought it was humbug, but after testing it for 2days, I must say it works. I suffer of insomnia, but with this app, even though I still sleep for very few hours, I feel alot less tired. Thank you devs! :-)

by F####:

It crashes on my Samsung Note when I try to calibrate the motion sensor as the developer recommends. It does appear to work without calibration. It seems like a good program so I am giving it 2 stars until it works reliably. Electric Sleep wants a review of my sleep as soon as I wake up, but won't let me edit the review.

U70%

It worked once, after that it always freezes. I hit report every time so hopefully it will be fixed but I have to uninstall. Seemed like a nice app if reliable.

Z70%
by Z####:

I've been using this every night for the past two months. Tried to review the data and I cannot access all the records. tapping some calendar days does not show any entry at all. Tapping others shows the wrong day. Also, can't edit an entry's note after it's been submitted. Fix please! Also, the graphs list the same hours twice. Mine from last my literally read "3, 3, 4, 4, 5, 6, 6, 7, 7". Come on, how hard is it to label a graph properly???

D70%
by D####:

Used to work well for a few nights, 4 stars worth. Now crashes every night, so not usable anymore (Desire S). So only 3 stars. No history is also missing feature..

Z70%
by Z####:

I was skeptical, but it's become invaluable to me. Being woken up at the right time makes a huge difference in how wakeful I feel in the morning.

Z70%
by Z####:

This is great. But, many nights it glitches and doesn't record accurate information. Much prefer the stats this app offers, looking forward to updates

Z70%
by Z####:

This piece of software is perfect for collecting sleep patterns and monitoring your sleep cycle. Once you've adjusted the wake up window and the sensitvity it works like a charm!

Z70%
by Z####:

I've used every other smart alarm on Android and nothing compares. Had a minor problem with being unable to change alarm sounds recently that made me decide to give other apps a chance and nothing compares.

Z70%
by Z####:

The data it collects is interesting, and how it collects the data is intriguing and raises many questions. Is there a little man in your phone counting how long it takes for you to sleep? I especially like the smart alarm, it wakes you up at your lightest moment of sleep within half hour of your wake up time. The only downside is that it asks your for feedback on how you feel as soon as you turn off the alarm! Sleepy...?

H70%
by H####:

Pretty good app, it would be good if there was an example of what a 'good' night sleep looked like though e.g. # of spikes & how to increase your rating. I realise this would basically be lower the spikes & increase the time but how else can you score >90% & how to lower # of spikes?

X70%
by X####:

I really like the app, but there are none or two things it would be cool to see in there as features. If you could set the size of the window of times when it would wake you, that would be great. Having seen it tumble out of a single bed last night, I think having some kind of non-accelerometer option just to record the sleep stats without the heavy/light recording would be cool. One of the things I find most useful is the stats, as I am a poor sleeper without ever really admitting to myself just how poor. Maybe some ideas for a premium version?

B70%
by B####:

Love it! Can set it when I need to (I never can get to bed the same time every night because of work schedules), and it tells me what I want to know about my sleep. I don't know about what others are saying; my screen sleeps and I can switch to other apps, I use a white noise app too. I think it's the best app for this purpose for the Android. Perfect!

D70%
by D####:

Great for tracking the approximate amount of sleep you get. Also the alarm clock feature to wake you up is pretty neat. Not sure if it times it right, but I feel refreshed. Placebo effect? Who knows, at least I'm at work on time.

I've used this 3x over the course of 1-2 years to edge my wake up time to 5am. I stop needing it once my sleep pattern becomes regular, but inevitably I fall out of it due to jet lag, etc. I try for months to get back on schedule without the app and it never works. My failsafe method: I put it near my pillow or on the nightstand a hand grab away, at a high calibration. When I check my phone for the time (which I habitually do about 5x a night), I get up if the alarm goes off and go back to sleep if it doesn't. No more waking up confused and groggy in the middle of deep sleep.

Need £140 Zeo hardware and a paid RunKeeper Elite account to make use of this 'free' app properly. The very basic functions work well but would like to see a data export facility and trend/stats analysis over time (analysis is currently limited to ONE DAY!!) before committing cash to this thing.

F70%
by F####:

I like seeing the graph in the morning to see how well it says I slept. I had to adjust my perspective to get up when it wakes me nicely instead of waiting to the absolute alarm time, but I do wake up with more energy.

D70%
by D####:

The concept itself actually works which is brilliant, it wakes you at a stage of light sleep so you feel refreshed. I can't manage to charge my phone and have it track my sleep as my cable isn't long enough and I'm pleased to say that in aeroplane mode with this app running, the power usage was tiny! It also has a nice, clean, android 4.0 UI.

D70%
by D####:

But I don't like that the electric sleep alarm chooses a time period to wake you based on the alarm you set. It woke me up too early and I felt groggy throughout the day.

D70%
by D####:

If you want to wake up during your light sleep periods, this app really works. It uses few additional battery resources, and dims the screen more than I ve seen in other apps. The calibration wizard really helps to, well, calibrate to your specific situation.

D70%
by D####:

No idea why, but after months of flawless operation and logging, the accelerometer reading goes crazy the whole time. Non stop spikes and bugs in the analysis. For example a 6 hour sleep gives "time to fall asleep" as 23hr 58mins. Real shame because I love this app and no matter how many re installs, does not work. Could possibly be 4.3.2 ?

N70%
by N####:

Does exactly what it's supposed to. It's easy to use and uncomplicated. I use it every night. I would love to have a "nap" feature that would wake me up after a set number of sleep cycles in addition to the feature that wakes me by a certain time. Also I would like to be able to access an explanation of the sleep score. Thanks!

C70%
by C####:

Works as advertised and the best sleep app I have tried. Only add on I would suggest is recording sound to hear if I snore.

A70%
by A####:

This is a good app but what about all the "features" you were going to add its been 10 months and nothing has come yet. Also is the force closing when exiting the app normal? I think that since you are being suppprted by zeo now you should have something out by now. I think that you should have more different features like a line graph or a nap. Otherwise great app well worth the price of FREE.

F70%
by F####:

This app is truly amazing. Me and mornings do not get on at all, but this allows me to wake up gently from my slumber. One thing to note is to remember to turn aeroplane mode ON, as the app has to keep the phone awake to keep the sensors on and battery gets drained fairly quickly. Such a brilliant app.

C70%

Works ideal for me on the desire z, is pretty much the only alarm i don't sleep through because it wakes me at the right moment! And its cool to see how much i actually slept.

Q70%
by Q####:

I go to sleep so much easier & I now wake up refreshed with the gentle pre alarm.

D70%
by D####:

Needs an option to snooze until next detected movement, so the user doesn't have to reset the alarm

D70%
by D####:

I really like this app bit it has been malfunctioning lately. Not sure what happened but its saying it took 5+ hours to fall asleep

D70%
by D####:

I installed this app after trying Sleep as Android and feeling like trying some alternatives. I read the high review of this app, and decided to give it a go. Indeed, the calibration function of this app is very useful for adjusting your device to best track your sleep. However, it could not track anything if I turn off the screen of my Motorola Defy running on Android 2.2! You may say that there is an option to force the screen on, but risking burning out the screen just to make this app function? No way! By the way, Sleep as Android could track my sleep even if I turn off my screen. Also, this app did not allow me to set progressive volume of the alarm. Therefore, it needs more work to get a "pass" from me...

D70%
by D####:

But it currently doesn't work for me and it keeps force quitting every time I open it. Please fix! Otherwise, it's been an amazing free app until recently.
