En sus distintas salas vemos la historia de La fuerza Armada Salvadoreña en sus diferentes períodos históricos.

Conservar, investigar y difundir el patrimonio histórico militar y cultural de la Fuerza Armada; realzando importante aporte a través de los tiempos a la institucionalidad del Estado, destacando con ello su servicio a la defensa de la soberanía e integridad del territorio y entregar a la comunicad nacional e internacional un enfoque de la historia militar de El Salvador.
